My husband had the same issue when we moved houses- not asthma but some breathing problems and severe allergies- constantly sneezing and coughing. Apparently, this is common in Dubai, especially in new houses because of all the dust build-up from construction, plus the ever so regular sandstorms worsening it all :s On my cousin's recommendation we got our AC Ducts deep cleaned, where they dismantled and removed all the parts of the AC and cleaned and disinfected it. The company we used also showed us pictures of the parts before their service- you'd be shocked at how contaminated our AC's were, even for a new house! The deep cleaning actually helped a lot, my husband's allergies have reduced drastically and the breathing issues (thankfully!) disappeared. Perhaps you can try that and see if it helps? We used a company called Moltocare- I think they are one of the better ones out there. We were actually really happy with their service and in fact, we get the follow-up service done regularly every quarter. Hope this helps!
