Al Reem is newer than Springs although Springs is closer to Marina/SZR. If you opt for Springs, try to get one on one of the lakes - in particular Springs 3 is one of the best options for a lake and fantastic view of the marina. Plus you can walk to the big Spinneys.

I have called them a few times since our move and they have showed up everytime picking up loads of stuff that I can't find a place for in the house. Have been very reliable. Google Take My Junk and number should come up.

RTA bus runs from Ibn Battuta Mall every hour I believe. As someone else mentioned, it will take you to the central bus station in Abu Dhabi and from there you can take a cab to the mosque. Close to the mosque (again another taxi ride) you can go to the Souk by the Shangri La which has many restaurants and have a nice view of the mosque.

went to Nepal and Jordan in December. Had a great time at both. Kathmandu, Nepal - would also recommend Pokara and Mustang. Petra, Dead Sea, Amman - all great.
