Dr. Sobeh does this new procedure that puts in a glue to the vein instead of the RF method which causes bruising due to the needles. You basically walk in and out. No painful stockings, no local anesthesia, nothing. Totally painless. My friend got it done from him. It was brilliant. Called venaseal.

i think anyone can have a bad experience with a bank. I have been with NBD for years and i find them outstanding. At the end of the day the banks are all competing for business so they will go that extra mile to retain customers and keep them happy. RAK is also great. But NBD is fab. I recently had some suspicious activity on my credit card. I was called immediately at 11.30 pm. I verified that I had not used the card. They blocked it and sent me a replacement within 48 hrs. The matter is under dispute but they have told me that it will be done in about 30 days (it takes that long because its an international transaction and the amount has to go to the Central Bank before its routed back to me. In the meantime they call me to keep me in the loop. For internet transactions they have a double secure password. They have ATMs all over the place. I am happy with them.

There is a better way to get rid of fibroids which doesnt involve surgery. Its a non invasive procedure called Uterine Artery Embolization (google the procedure). It is being offered by Dr. Ayman Sibaei in Dubai and by Dr. Khwaja in Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi. A friend had got it done and was really happy. Happy to give more info if anyone wants it.

I HIGHLY recommend Bakti. She has been working at the Dubai Community Health Center on Beach Road but is now moving to another set up. Her no is 0505182387. He is an expert at Dysgraphia. You will be amazed at the progress in just one or two lessons.

Fitness First in Meadows (used to be hayya) have squash courts. In fact might be easier to get a booking for the ones near the smaller spinneys.

One more heads up for Doc Shahani. She takes her time over each patient, is so willing to listen and understand. She is really really wonderful.

I went to Valery salon for my nails today. It was Without doubt the worst manicure I have ever received. I asked the technician to trim my nails but she spent an hour clipping and cutting so that now my nails have been cut to the skin. The skin underneath is exposed and red. All the cuticles have been over cut and most of them are bleeding. I don't know how people have the audacity of get untrained technicians. Avoid the place.

If they're that keen to employ you, then they will do so at a relevant salary for your qualifications and experience. I dont think keen to employ you is happening in the cut-throat job market.

You will be clocking up the miles commuting to al ain everyday so I would look at a sturdy new car. And I agree 4X4's are not as comfy as salon cars.

Its normal practice even in the west. The salary slip is to verify your salary. When asked a lot of potential employees club their benefits together to inflate their salary. They might add the commission and claim that is part of their basic. Or any of a hundred other scenarios. Just like you would request for references its quite normal to ask to see your salary slip or previous appointment letter to check the terms of employment. If you have not exaggerated your salary why not show it?

Hi does any one know of a divorce support group in Dubai? Or is there a group of older single women (40s and 50s) who meet in the evening? I feel i need a little encouragement.

Fathers CAN sponsor their 18 year old sons. There is a new category where you pay a 10k deposit and then get the visa renewed every year. Please go and check the details. Lots of my friends have done it. My son turns 18 next year. His visa expired this month but they refused to renew for two years. We will have to do the same next year. Just go to any of the official typing centers and you can get the details on the how.
