Dr Annette and Dr Alex at city hospital . I saw Dr Alex this morning, amazing doctor, she is super nice, takes her time explaining what she is doing and why, and made me feel at ease straight away.

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart. I felt so alone and scared last week and all of your kind messages helped so much, i had tears reading them!! If i could hug you all, i would . I am waiting for an appointment for the biopsy, (2 weeks they say) but keeping busy and not thinking about it . again thank you all :)

I really do need to sit myself down and give myself a good talking to. I always swore if it was me, I would be as strong as my sis and i'm letting myself down. I do need to pull myself together, I think I need to get out of the house for a bit as i'm just going round and round in circles trying to get my housework done and finishing nothing. Keep your fingers crossed for me :)

I have just had a phone call from the nurse to tell me they will contact me today to arrange for the biopsy. Thank you ladies for your kind words, I feel stupid for feeling this way when I think of what my sis has gone through. I have spoken to her about it what I should expect etc and she advised me the same thing Molly, 'don't google' but of course I did! I just want to know, is it , is it not.

Morning, We got toughened Glass cut for a table in dragon mart by a picture framing Guy, It took them A couple of hours and a decent price. So sorry, I cant give you a shop name or number , I am always totally lost there!

Hi, Hamdan sports complex will be the closest Olympic size pool to any of those areas , its on emirates road ( the old by pass ) take direction sharjah and its the huge blue dome shaped building on the right, 5 mins from motor city.

you can also find this in dragon mart, I can't tell you the shop number, but its a kitchen stuff shop, woks , dishes etc, and at the back they have a huge display of chef and waiter uniforms. I enter Dragon mart from the Al Ain road, after the petrol station, I park at the first parking on the left and enter there and the shop is somewhere in that area, sorry totally vague, i spend most of my time lost there.

We have done arabian adventures twice with guests and loved it, loads of dune bashing involved! We also got the same driver twice, who was full of fun and crying laughing at my sisters screams! Great fun, cant wait for our next guests to arrive in october so we can do it again! Food was good, the show ok ,after we did a bit of night time dune bashing back to the main road!

Can't face cooking & can only think of NKD pizza. I think Foodonclick is cash on delivery and I've come home forgetting to take money out. Thanks :) I have just ordered with foodonclick and at the checkout you can tick cash or cc , not sure how it works with cc, if you pay online or the little man comes with the machine, but the option is there:)

I know....it's too disheartening... I just couldn't stop my tears looking at her... My heart was out! I hope she settles well... More worrying part was to see the teacher's panic on her assistants...!! Hope things settles well.... Poor you :( Try not to worry, all will be ok. Both of ours screamed on their first day( many years ago now, but i still see it like it was yesterday!) the teacher had to undo them from my arms screaming!!! I would then sit in my car and ring my DH in tears. At hometime they hardly noticed i was there!!! Stay strong , sending you lots of hugs .

I had a Mini Cooper here , big mistake. I was forever being ' bullied' on the roads by HUGE 4x4's, never ever felt safe. We bought it second hand and had it for 6 months, in that 6 months I had it at home 3 weeks max, the rest of the time it lived at BMW being repaired, one thing after another that cost not hundreds but thousands! We got 'done' big time as the person we bought it off had left the country. Anyway , in the end we sold it parts as we didn't want anyone else to have the same heartache as we did. We lost a huge amount of money. I now drive a toyota fortuner and love it. This is just my experience with a mini. <em>edited by dollybird on 25/08/2014</em>

Hi Mesho Our daughter was 2 when our son was born. When she came to the hospital to see him we gave her a little present and told her ,her brother brought it especially for his big sister! Naughty , I know , but it worked! It took her a few more years to ask where and how he bought the pressie!!! She is now 14 and still has this ' special present ' . :) I didn't have any help, did not live in my home country with friends and family and my husband travelled a lot, so I was pretty much, home alone. I got DD involved in everything to do with her baby brother during the day,simple things like letting her help choose his clothes,stacking up his nappies etc then when he had his sleep we would do something special ' have an ice cream' , watch cartoons, paint. It did get a bit hectic at times, sometimes you just have to forget about the housework and all the other ten thousand things that need to be done, and enjoy your babies. Hi, We did a road trip in Oman 2 weeks ago and before going I rang the Oman Embassy to ask if we could get our visas before the actual trip , the guy on the phone told us to come to the Embassy, we did, waited 1 hour only to be told that we would have to get our visas at the border! We travelled during the last week of July and we got our visas in half an hour ,it was really quiet.

I'm still here, ( kind of ) , we are on a road trip in Oman , so far been to Khasab , Zighy bay and tonight we are in Muscat , tomorrow , Ras Al Jinz turtle reserve, then Nizwa, Abu Dhabi and then home to Dubai. But still checking in to expatwoman :)
