Thank you for taking the time to reply on such a busy day for you - I hope all went well for you with the move. We took a trip to The Villa yesterday and managed to get into our villa as there were workers there who kindly let us in. It's looking good!! Pool not finished but the inside seems to be almost complete (not that I have an expert eye!).
We have bought in RP area and it is still very much like a building site but it's amazing how quickly things can be transformed here - something I have learned about Dubai. I did see one villa in our area with people living in it, which surprised us.
Out of interest, which removal firm did you use and would you recommend them? Quotes for moving are next on my list!! Hope you are settling in to your new home.
I am interested to hear how life is at The Villa a few months on from the last posting. We are due to move there by the end of April 2011. We bought our house there years ago and we're certainly looking forward to having our own place. I'm a bit concerned about how developed (or underdeveloped) our area will be but am reassured that the areas which have undergone some development are looking lovely. Any feedback (good or bad) gratefully received!
Also if any one knows of any good/reasonable removal firms or landscape gardeners, feel free to pass on their names!!
