Hi Rebecca, We’ve not made the move yet, but it’s looking very likely it is going to happen. It sounds like you have the same reservations as I do. Have you researched any neighbourhoods o...
I haven't really researched any neighbourhoods it all seems to have come round so quick. We were just looking at apartments on JBR, but now I'm thinking would we be more suited in a neighbourhood as were a family. I currently work in a nursery in the UK, I'm term time which is brillant so ideally I'd like a school job but for now I'm on maternity & if we went over in the Oct I'd still not work for a few more months to get my son & baby settled. I've looked at Gems first point is meant to be brillant but I wasnt aware there were so many GEMS schools & I've no idea which ones are the best ones. Rebecca x

Hi I'm just wondering if you made the move to Dubai? Currently in a similar position as you were yourself. I have a 9year old & a 6month old. Husband is currently in talks with transferring from his UK company to move to UAE. We ourselves have been there now 4times on holiday again I get it's different to live there but I want us to say we tried it at least. How have you got on? With schools & meeting other mums. I'm excited but so nervous for my son to go to school I just worry for him being the new kid. Thanks Rebecca
