I am not sure... I cooked live lobster, which is bit difficult to handle but you use the 3 mins boikling to kill it and not cook it all the way... and then you take it out of the pot and peel the shell and take the meat out... - with regards to meat quantity, lobster will contain more meat. With crabs, it is difficult o take the meat out like you do with lobster tail... If you can't get live lobster, then ask the place steam the lobster for exactly 3 minutes and then immediately package it in ice to cool the lobster off. When you get home, remove the meat from the lobster and continue the recipe with the butter poaching.

I used few times the following recipe and have good results... Butter Poached Lobster with Fresh Tomatoes Servings: Serves 2 as a main course or 4 as a starter. Prep Time:5 minutes Cook Time:20 minutes I recommend using salted butter, which is all the salt that's needed to flavor the dish. If you're using unsalted butter, you might want to season with a bit of salt while cooking the tomatoes. An important tip is to make sure the butter mixture does not come to a boil - keep the heat low so that the butter emulsifies (turns into a nice, smooth creamy sauce) instead of breaking up Ingredients: 1 3/4 pound live lobster (or 2 uncooked lobster tails) 1 tablespoon water 1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick), cut into 1 tablespoon chunks 1 clove garlic, very finely minced 2 tomatoes, cut into large chunks 3 fresh basil leaves, chiffonade Directions: 1. **If you are using lobster tails: Use sharp kitchen shears to cut shell of lobster all the way down its back. Turn over and cut bottom shell all the way down. Peel off shell and remove meat. Continue with step 2. **If using live whole lobster - bring a large pot of water to boil. Turn off heat and add the lobster. Cover with lid and let cook for 3 minutes. Remove all lobster meat from shell and cut into large chunks. 2. In a sauce pan, bring 1 tablespoon of water to simmer over medium-low heat. Whisk in 1 piece of butter. When butter had melted, add another piece. Continue with remaining butter pieces, one at a time. Make sure the mixture does NOT come to a boil, otherwise the butter will separate. 3. Keeping the heat on medium-low, add the lobster pieces and cook for 5 minutes, turning the lobster pieces every minute or so. Make sure mixture does not boil. Remove lobster pieces and divide amongst the 2 serving bowls. 4. In the same saucepan with the remaining butter, turn the heat up just a bit, add the garlic. When fragrant, add the tomatoes and cook for just a couple of minutes until the tomatoes have released some of the juices. I like to gently smash the tomatoes a bit so more juice comes out. Throw in the basil and you're done. Spoon tomatoes over lobster and serve immediately.

I would also go Maldives instead of Mauritius... In fact if you fly to Mauritius , try to get to Reunion, which is 10 times better that Mauritius... Most of the corals where you can swim are dead after the 2004 tsunami by the way...

I am not sure what Gaggia costs but for around 6000 AED. you can get the top of the range full automatic SAECO, which is a great coffee machine. We have one since 10 years and it its a great kit... By the way SAECO actually owns Gaggia as a subbrand.

will recommend the International Aesthetic Center on Al Wasl road and specifically the lady called Elena there. She is qualified and also very experienced and quite famous for her good work which leads to results. I am quite happy with my treatment. Having said that i find all of the comments including mine a little bit useless about whether it hurts or not... first of all everybody has a different thickness and amount of hair , secondly the hair might be thick or thin and also whether it will be finished in few sessisna or not is totally depend both the two factors as well as your hormonal status as well... so what you need to find is a good laser technicaian in a proper clinic who can see you for review and find the right solution (number of sessions, the right machine and the strength of treatment and re-occurence rate) and explain you in most simple form and mange your expectations with the services. The rest of it is subjective... About the pain, it is expected that bikini area will be more painful that other body parts , therefore generally they apply the first treatment with EMLA. I had one treatment with that and rest of 5 I had without because I can hadle the pain and I also know when you cover the place with EMLA , there is lesser effect of laser so you might extend your treatment with number of additional sessison... I would suggest that you choose to get your treatment when you know that you are not planning to be pregnant soon, since some people I know they had the hair growth back during pregnancy not very much but they required further sessions... also you should stop waxing 4 -6 weks before the first session and not wax while you are getting the treatments... anyway a good technician should tell you all of this and not me....

Try Scandanavian clinic in Al Wasl road. All doctors are very good there. We have been their patients for years and their service is very good and despite that their cost is reasonable. I have never seen in any developed country that clinics offers promotion deals for dentistry other than offering some dicount on dental hygiene etc.. howeve Dubai is full of clinics which offers so called cheap deals on orthodonty, cosmtic dentistry ecen usual treatments like crowns etc.. Competition is one thing when it comes to grap the customers but offering cheap rates and doing a very bad job is another... So I would not suggest to go somewhere basically for the cost being suitable, you might end up spending more time , and money and go through alot of pain simply while trying to economize it.... it might sound harsh, however the standard of medical services with cheap rates will be disapponting...

if you compare both luxury and consequently the price for high end and also medium grade hotels the ranking is below.... 1. Seychelles (Most expensive and most exclusive in terms of resorts) 2. Maldives 3. Mauritius I was disappointed with Mauritius, as one big island, I expected not just a holiday in resort and beach , but more local culture and it was not as interesting as I expected. however I got lots of paintings from there, which I like... Stayed in one and only and was happy. I would rather go to Reunion or Madagascar instead of Mauritus.... Seychelles is beautiful , but you might need to budget it - if you really would like to spend money and want to stay in a good resort, that is a place offers nice resorts to switch off... We stayed in both Four Seasons and Maia and both of them are a bit of heaven... There is not so many resorts with reasonable rates if you are looking with limited budget.. it's also oneof those places, limited budget does not work.... :( Both hotels and airlines... However if you want to spend little less than Seychelles, you can find very exclusive places also in maldives like Anantara Dhigu or Veli, (also Banyan Tree or Conrad Rangali)- which is only 4 hours away... I would not take 6,5 hours flight from here to Mauritus for 4 days, even if I have the good hotel - thats for sure...

If you can find the brand called Divan , it is one of the good quality ones... the best would be Haci Behir , however they never export to Dubai... Divan was on and off in the shelves of the small kiosk in Mercato (Opposite Spinneys) and funny enough I saw them selling also in the coffee shop of Iconic in Deira City Centre... but long time ago... Mercato one says they do receive lots on and off, so worth to check.

http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=188173 Until the 6th of September , pandora has some offers, above you can see the previous forum entry about it.. I would suggest that you call the MOE shop, they might have extended the offer... otherwise, in Blomingdales there are pendants and some costume jewellery, some semi precious stones and well known brands. there was also another charm bracelet brand in there (I do not remember the brand) you might find some nice items...

If it is short trip, my suggestions would be Sri Lanka, Istanbul, Athens, Kenya, Tanzania, since the flight durations are short... Kenya and Tanzania, if you attend a tour in a game reserve or something or go to a resort, solo should not be a problem. Istanbul and Athens, no problem for solo travels, you have visit historical sites and have great food.. If you want to chill out totally, then it would be maldives - 4 hours flight and seriously switched off ... Anywehere Jordan, kebanon , Syria, I would not go now solo or not, it is quite risky these days... Sri Lanka, i had lots of friends who visited solo but not myself, but I think it should not be a huge problem... and if you happened to be staying in dubai , then book yourself to Burj Al Arab Spa for massage and enjoy the day of leisure in their spa and indoor pool.... Happy Birthday.

1 cup of lentil (washed and drained) , half a cup rice (American big grain), 1 onion, 1 potato (chopped in cubes), 1 carrot (chopped in cubes) , salt, put them all together and cover them with cold water. Boil them all together and then put them in a blender. This base you can prepare and freeze in portions. when you want to use, after defrosting and heating the base, add the following sauce before you serve: bit of butter on the pan , chilli pepper, black pepper, parsley , mint etc...

I would still check with African eastern and MMI, sometimes they do have sometime bar accessories. You can also check with Emirates High Street , they do have barware section. I saw few years back in Galleries La Fayette this item, however they are so bad with any stocks or planning, there is never a continuity. Last option hospitality suppliers : http://www.hospitalitysuppliesintl.com/barware.php#all Good luck.

Hi Sarah Joy, Orange-blossom and lime blossoms are quite nice. I think Vanillas after period of time might be a little too dominant... If you like sweet smells but not over empowering like vanilla, i would suggest Pomegranate noir ,it is fruity- has berries, pomegranate etc, but since it has also frankincense., you can also well combine with basil or lime blossoms of Jo Malone... so recently become one of my favorite. Enjoy...

I can't make any judgement about this particular case. However if the behaviour of the kids are unacceptable whether it is day time or evening, casual or formal place ,it think it is correct at least mention the issue to the parents nicely. I am sorry to say there are number of bad behaved kids around with very laid back parents who are tolerating their behaviour and demand other people to do the same. I wonder those same parents when they go out without their children and want to have a nice lunch , coffee or dinner would be able to tolerate other peoples kids screaming and running around...
