Does anyone live in Trident Grand in the Marina? I just wanted to check out the noise levels we have seen an apartment that is quite nice but its sat near the construction, any help appreciated :)

I live in Tecom .. I see apartments and villas everyday ..some good some not so good I love our building because in our apartment .. Its HUGE ..we have a 3 bed ..its full of natural light and floor to ceiling windows - the apartment came with chiller included, no agency fee , one month free rental and a fully fitted BOSCH kitchen with dishwasher,washerdryer,double fridge,ceramic hob and double oven.. a huge balcony for tables chairs plants etc etc the best thing was the walk in showers ..no sticky wet shower curtains - deep joy :) park n shop .. coffee shops banks restaurants african and eastern ;) We are close to the Byblos and media rotana - the road links are amazing - and give it a year it will compete with the greens .. not only that when we visit anywhere around here all the staff know us and we know nearly all of our neighbours .. In the evenings there is no road noise - just needs greenery .. but they are starting ... I LOVE TECOM !! which apartment block do you live in? sounds quite good?!

Hatta Fort have got an amazing deal on at the moment. For AED 999 you get a twin room, bed, breakfast, lunch (with house beverages) and supper (with house beverages) is AED 999 during the week (certainly on Thurs) and AED 1122 on the weekend. We have vetted the wine and I think it was Lindemans. Cant wait !!!! Dee who did you book that through?

Hi Kelly, I noticed you had recommended srivillas a few times, I had a look into it to get a quote and it came back fairly expensive, I think probably because we are going as two and the villas are for more people; did you go as a group? Not sure if anyone can recommend any great accommodation in Sri Lanka? Thanks!!

Myself and DH are thinking of going on holiday to Sydney in August. Does anyone know the best / most cost effective way of getting there? Is it potentially better to book a flight from the UK? Also is it feasible to stay two weeks in Sydney or better to travel around? Many thanks for any help!!
