Do you know how to buy them here, i know you can order them fro China directly but usually they sell bigger quantity and i don't want stuck with sth we don't like. We have some branded like charlie banana and i really love using them, but seems we don't have enough, i wish to have at least 10 more :) edited by evelyn2000 on 05/12/2012

Thanks Dangerous Blonde &AnonDubai Yea they are easy to install. Honestly i bought used car seat which seems not fit in our car, also i think i better get new one for my LO, as its a matter of safety, and you never know this used car seats...And i have no idea why we cant fit one we have i believe its just not for our car. That is why i would proffer to have it fitted before i buy to avoid same story. I think i will send my husband to Baby shop for research.

I am using soap de marsellie http://savondemarseille.com/savon-de-marseille-palm-oil-soaps-original.html . Here also i found Aleppo soap I'm washing my hair with. Unfortunately here in Dubai they don't have much choice, i brought most from my home country. The less is on label means better product.

Personally i have never used Marocan Soap paste, but I am using natural soaps. They don't smell good, little bit rough this is because there is no extra things added. But the way how they work on skin is amazing, no dryness also i get rid of falling hair and dandruff. So i think this Marocan soap its worth trying it, you can make small test for allergy before apply on whole body.

dxbinthecity, read the label what are ingredients? I think it is kind of natural product so it may smell different (bad ;)) than the ones stuffed with chemicals, parfumes, parabens etc.

I am 37 weeks pregnant & and my right leg swelling more than left. Dr didn't say anything on that. Just to decrease salt & drink water. If i have active day, walking a swelling is less than when i stay at home and also when i wear closed shoes.

I don't know if you need to make in the same hospital/clinic, if not you can try Iranian Hospital it cost there 290AED ( I think this is a scan you are asking for with all details like baby weight, sizes, check if all organs are there & working). They will give you report then you can show to your Dr. Its little crowded there & you need to wait but 290 its not 1000 :).

As mogindubai said buy them from UK, here there is only few brands....If i were on your place i would order them online & bring to Dubai.Even i would bring cosmetics for baby from there, especially if you are using the organic ones.

Hi Actually I am looking for pre- loved baby clothes. I am expecting baby boy in few weeks, and due to our financial situation ( i don't have maternity ins. so all visits cost us a loads). I would like to buy some second stuff, especially its my first baby and I m still not sure how many clothes i will need etc :). What is my idea if you can work out reasonable price for them, and after donate money for charity? I don't want them by free ;) If you like that idea, you can drop me an email on greenlover550 at gmail dot com

They selling Sodasan Sensitive washing powder in Geant, Ibn Batuta, its written there that is good for babies and ppl with allergies. Also you can find natural soap of Aleppo in Coop near to Safa Park, Al Wasl. I think it was liquid soap there as well, but you can always dissolve some in water. I am using personally instead of shower gel, shampoo etc.

I went there to have a look. The hospital is nothing special compare to private ones, but also prices are affordable. For sb without insurance, its more secure, at least we are sure our savings will be enough in case sth go wrong ( hopefully not, but better be prepared). Normal delivery is 6000, if go so Cesarean is 9000- 9500. Only thing that usually after delivery you are asked to stay 2 days in the hospital, there they will release you after one day. Off course there is an option to stay more if need. Also i believe i have to have all items with me, i don't think they will provide much. Also I'm worry little bit about communication, as they said DH is not allowed fro delivery room...

Hmm, its really worth to consider what you are saying. Personally i was going there for my preg. appointments. And it was one Dr. i really liked. Unfortunately when i came back from holiday i have been told she is not working there anymore. Also i noticed that all gynecological who i remember from last time ( it was 3 months ago) they not working there anymore as well. I don't know what to think about. Maybe better i go and deliver in American Hospital.
