They are adverts placed on here by companies looking for the demographic of our readers... lots on there and we add new ones as they come in... so worth checking every day! Thanks Marroosh, Our IT team work very hard to ensure the site is compatible with all browsers new and recent versions... Usually covers last 3 to 4 years... Looks like IE8 has reached it's expiry date. It's when versions of browsers become more or less obsolete that there may be an issue with the viewing of many sites and its always good practice to make sure you're using the latest version as it will have the most update security features too. HTH

Looks like your internet explorer needs updating version 8 is from 2009 so nearly 5 years old.... See if you can upgrade to a newer version... Upgrades are free and you won't experience problems with sites then. Here's some information from the website whatismybrowser.com that explains the ins and outs... "Internet Explorer 8 users receive an "Internet Explorer 8 is out of date" warning on WhatIsMyBrowser.com, for the simple reason that Internet Explorer 8 is out of date. We understand that it's the last version of Internet Explorer that can be run on Windows XP, but unfortunately this doesn't change the fact that it is over ten years old and there are two newer versions of Internet Explorer. Lets not forget that Windows XP itself is out of date. Microsoft do continue to provide security patches for legacy users as new security concerns are disclosed; but this is a far cry from being an actively maintained web browser. Aside from the fact that Internet Explorer 8 lacks feature support which modern browsers have and major online companies such as Google have dropped support for it, the fact is that serious security flaws continue to be found in Internet Explorer 8 and with so many safe and free alternatives it simply should not be used in this day and age. If youre stuck with Windows XP why not consider one of the alternatives such as Chrome, Opera or Firefox.
