Dr Carole Smilie (again at Dubai London Clinic but at the other branch at Festival City) is superb, and worth the drive over! edited by pinks on 15/10/2011 I believe Carole Smiley has left Dubai. However Dr Nicola at Festival City is great and still worth the drive to FC dr nicola is very nice and from my experience very good when i have needed to see her.

carrefour spinneys choithrams all have low and no fat salad dressings in the salad dressing sections. u can also make low fat or no fat dressing using low fat, or skimmed yoghurt and herbs and crushed garlic, lemon juice. i also add liquidised fresh fruit as well as a change on occasions. i tend not to follow recipes but just trial and error and taste.

hi i am going down to see these tomorrow - but a friend who went down said they have bulldozed over the ground for either the last 2 or 3 towers, there were 5 originally now it will either be 2 or 3 towers. not sure about infrastructure etc with those that are left - will they actually complete the gardens/pool etc, i will come back and post update on sunday. i would love to sell my apt but can imagine i wouldnt get a bargain and i def wouldnt sell at a loss. we have bought a one bed overlooking the golf course on 8th floor so i hope that our outlook is at least finished. we debated over sea view but now the beach has been fenced off for private use all thats left is a tiny beach around the corner by the villas and phase one.

Hmmm......I'm assuming you've put down too much money already to just walk away. Ask Al Hamra if they are buying units back, or get in touch with the agents i've mentioned and see if they can help. yes, i have tried that already..but will definitely contact the other agents that you have mentioned...thank you so much.. I will wait for fairwater's response as well as she has a prop there so may have an idea about deferring the payments. thanks a bunch again sorry i am not a lot of help, but we've not had anything about deferring payments, but why dont you email them and ask them, in the economic climate maybe they will consider this on a case by case basis. worth asking, you dont ask you dont get out here. but i think you should also go to the other agents suggested in a previous post.

Hi fairwater...thank you for your message. I am unable to afford the final payment like many others so I am trying to sell it at a very low price. The issue is that they are pushing everyone to make final payments otherwise they are charging penalties which I cant afford to pay. Would you by any chance know if they are offering payment extensions and for how long? Also in terms of selling or renting, would you know of any agents that can help? Thank you. we've not been given any notification of payment extensions but why dont you email them and ask, in the financial market today maybe they will consider it on a case by case basis. good luck.

closed the cellar?? devastating news. closed couple of weeks ago, its all being enovated/refurbished and incorporated into the new hotel for managment for a couple of years, then who knows. the last few months were even better as their drinks in the bar were all 50% off, including bubbles. now theres no where to go thats like the bar area in garhoud.

we stayed at the cinnamon grand S. L. and it was lovely, as to sightseeing there are a few things to see but you can do colombo in half to one day, its rather boring to be honest.

hi, just would like to know if you are moving :) I'm kinda looking to relocate to garhoud. so appreciate your feedback even if you know of any one leaving thier villa anytime soon thx no sorry not moving, just getting rid of books cluttering up the place that i have read. we found our villa by driving around garhoud, we are on the choithrams side not the irish village side, but try dubizzle as well as agents such as b.homes. garhoud is a great place to live, old suberb. nice parks. dfc 7 mins by car. mcc 10 mins by car, metro less than kilometer walk, bus for metro on routes around garhoud. emirates hq 1 kilometer away. airport really near. choithrams and coop just up the road. meridian, al bustan and millenium near as is irish village, century village. if i could buy in garhoud i would, unfortunatelly we are not allowed - we love it here, foreigners i mean not allowed to buy here.

the brunch at wafi shows mahi mahi as one of them, not sure if its closed down now to turn into a steak house called W. if you want to have brunch there check on that first if esp. like us we love seafood and prefered to sit in mahi mahi. anyway the kids section is just outside the steps of mahi mahi its not a large area and its not noisy - it wasnt when we were there, they have some face painting, bean bags with cartoons on a tv and a clown doing balloon animals and hotdogs chips burgers for kids, stuff like that and its where the sweets/puddings are. vintage is also open - you can sit in there and eat the cheeses, it has a nice selection of cheeses and biscuits. medzo is very nice to sit in and now its getting cooler outside will be available soon. medzo have live pasta stations and they make fresh pasta to order and pizzas. cold cuts ( oink variety avail too ). pleasant back ground music too. light and airy in there. thai chi is nice if you get a table by the windows not in the walk thro part, the food is thai chinese and was lovely as well. carters is live band - music is loud and carters is usually packed. the food is roasts and veggies. it was quite smokey as well as dark and dingy, it smelled of cabbage to me in there. but once outside is cool enough that will be nice to go to as well. if you want to go as a couple i would suggest mahi mahi if its still operating, or medzo or thai chi. if you want lively lively and are in the mood to boogie along with your roast or perhaps go in a lively meat eating crowd then this is the place for you. you can go to any venue to eat and drink, but you have to book a table in one of the venues and return to your table with your food and drinks. but you can eat and drink from anywhere. the food in all the venues was very good, i would go back except if mahi mahi is closed then i wont bother as i love fish and seafood - unless they offer that in one of the other outlets. oh nearly forgot sevilles brought a selection of their food along to mahi mahi as well. not much but a nice enough taster selection. we did the non alco package when we went as we had to go else where afterwards, you can have water - gassy or still, box fruit juices and teas coffees. the alco avail was all grapes and others as well as those in each rest. each venue had different c. tails mahi mahi was vody c.tails, thai chi was slushy margs. and carters not sure as we didnt stay to eat or drink in there. the 2 4 1 is very good value as that works out at 100 dirhams per person non alc. hope this helps - enjoy if you decide to go.

2 zebra finches free to good home with cage, male and female around 9 months old. also 2 budgies free to good home with cage, male and female, female is younger than the male, she is just a few months old - both blue and white colouring. my son has a parrot and he cant devote the time to all the birds as the parrot is a full time job. many thanks or do you know someone who would be interested, thank you.

gok wan is on bbc lifestyle. 9th oct i think 8pm. gok is someone who gets women to love their bodies regardless of shape or size. the programme on here is not the naked one but one that pits him against 4 fashonistas, they do the 4 designer outfits and he does 4 modified high street designs and then they are sent out onto the catwalk for the public to decide if they know which is designer and which is high street and vote on their favs, so far the first two votes have been for highstreet. his road show goes to different cities each week, so far hes been to liverpool and birmingham.
