u should go to your gp and ask for a check on your bones/ immune system etc, it sounds like you need a good health check. (my dil same age as you was sick a couple years back, aching painful joints, hard to walk up stairs etc, feeling very tired - it was discovered that she had a problem with her immune system attacking her and making her sick, tired and affecting her joints. it was a long haul to get better but she is 100% now and is training to be a personal trainer and is super fit.) but she had to be nagged to go initially as she thought she was just run down. i am not trying to frighten you - i wouldnt want to do that or say this is what you have but you should go to your gp and see where it goes from there. good luck and i hope you feel better very very soon. take care.

It depends. I don't think it's absolutely necessary to have your phone compatible with your OS system. You should be able to transfer files between your computer and pretty much any phone. I'm a happy blackberry user and I own a Mac. However, if you're interested in transferring apps or syncing them, then yes, I'd go for an iPhone. I also own an iPad. I think it's good and by far the most popular. thank you for your help. that would explain why we cant sync the bb to the mac. ipad it is then, thanks again.

Apple products work best with Apple products. An iPhone (which is the Apple brand of smartphone) will be easier to use with a Mac computer than a Blackberry smartphone for example as a lot of the software/apps are shared between iPhones, Macbooks, iPads, iPods. thank you for your help.

we have eaten there a few times, we like it but prefer it in winter so we can sit outside , he might like this one, have a look at Nezesaussi grill in down town lots of meat, combination of rsa, nz and aus. ruth chris is also very good, but you would need to check prices. like wise with hunters - rsa braai style grand grill west 14 ( we are also off to meat company madinat tuesday to celebrate a birthday) have a great time for your husbands birthday.

i wouldnt go back. stay away from bbq's as they cook them around 3pm in the afternoon then cover them with foil and leave them out ready for finishing off in the night. we were very very sick because of this. we didnt realise it was precooked hours before until we went for a walk one afternoon. u dont see any beach once you are out of your hotel just road. didnt enjoy it at all. much prefer phuket. we used this internet cafe and had ctails and food here a few times and it seemed a really nice place, small and laid back - you have use of the hotel pool and beach just across the small road as its not on the beach. the owners were really nice too. it was spotless when we went there unlike many others. http://www.akwaguesthouse.com/ we stayed at centara grand beach resort and it was alright, the sea was awful when we went really rough and we couldnt swim the whole time we were there. it was very very expensive for what it was. i wouldnt go back and to be honest if i had seen akwa g h before booking the other, i would have booked that. but having said that, i hope you have a lovely time.

I was talking to Laura at Positive Paws yesterday re boarding - and she does have some space over the next couple of weeks. Our lab goes there for daycare and I'd happily board her there too as they get to play out pretty much all day with the daycare dogs, so aren't cooped up on their own. they are double checking dates and will come back this afternoon, manyt thanks.

the pullman hotel attached to moe's has a little place open, vantage i think its called. they are allowing smoking, eating and drinking , choice isnt brilliant but it was alright. i had the mezze and it was enough for 2 to 3 people. what is annoying is that i wanted to buy gifts of dates from bateel and they were shut. i cant go tonight as its tonight for iftar gifts for neighbours etc. edited by fairwater on 01/08/2012

we have been invited to a local family iftar at the home of a business colleague of my husbands. i have met her many times, she is uk educated and has travelled a lot but she wears headscarf and abaya in public. i havent met her husband altho my husband has. neither of us have met her children or extended family. so thats the back ground sort of. as we have accepted to join them for iftar i am sure its not the same as one in a hotel for example. so what i would like to know is - what is the protocol - do we arrive with gifts, if so what sort of gifts for the family hosting ( dates, chocolates, flowers?) -do we get gifts for them individually - do we buy the children gifts or do we give them money? - as its being hosted in their home, if they have extended family members present how would we greet them( i know about not extending hands for shaking ) - what should we say as a greeting ramadan kareem? i realise that more conservative dress is expected, i am fine with that as i do anyway. i am really looking for a hands up here so we dont make a boo boo and embarress ourselves. many thanks for any help. ps we are so looking forward to this, its the first time we have been invited to their home, well any emirati home. thanks all. ramadan kareem. edited by fairwater on 01/08/2012

garhoud can be pricey but if you look around and act fast you can get a bargain now. as well as dubizzle and agents for rentals, drive around garhoud - the opposite side to irish village. this area has a big coop and a choithrams and a nursery called yellow brick road and a montesorri next to choithrams ( i cant vouch for any of those as i dont have small children any more) garhoud is lovely to live in but the further away from the airport the better. we live just off 19 street mid way between choithrams and the Em headquarters and its been fine. we re 7 mins or so drive from DFC, 1 kilometre from the Em headquarters and metro station there. good luck with your house hunting.

take everything out of your cupboards and wardrobes and then make outfits up - keep the colours co ordinated and then u can mix and match. if you do this weekly as well you will save time in the mornings, especially if you are working. and whats left over donate, give away, sell. dont keep anything that needs repair if you've had it hanging around for the last 6 months. if its too small dont keep it for a skinny time. if its too big either tailor it yourself to fit or take it to the tailors - or get rid of it. good luck with your down scaling, have a good week.

have a look on bayut propertyfinder dubizzle gulf news property section have a look around street 42a and i think 46 saw some signs around there recently. but as i said a drive around garhoud on the choithrams side not irish village side, you may find signs up. thats how we found ours. we are just off 19 street near to the park and the emirates head quarters, winter walkable to irish village. not that far to choithrams and shops there. i live in garhoud and i would recommend driving around the streets, as places have signs up for rent. some dont necessarily advertise online or with agents just on the walls. our compound is small and we are a mixed bunch of nationalities. good luck with your search, i love living in garhoud. Hi Fairwater sorry to ask but how much do you pay for your villa there? sorry ive taken a while to get back. our villa is a 5 bed and we pay 210 ,000 or 215,000 per year. i think we may have a 4 bed avail but i dont know the price. sorry ./ share pool. private small garden and little play room off the pool area. but there are others near us that are 4 bed, all with pools. not sure if any are avail. now. they are on street 13 and 11 i think which is off 42a they were going for around 140,000 recently. good luck

Okay ladies, let's see if you can help... A colleague used to wear a perfume and I can't remember the name... I think it may have been an Estee Lauder one, but not sure... it was very light and clean, kind of a cucumber and grass smell with maybe some fresh linen thrown in if you know what I mean... any ideas?!? This sounds like elizabeth arden blue grass - could it be?! http://www.amazon.com/Elizabeth-Arden-Women-Parfum-Ounces/dp/B000C1VW3G Oooh, might be!! Next time I'm passing through Duty Free I shall try and have a sniff!! Thank you so much for your reply! it might be eliz arden tea tree

yes i agree, maybe just give it one more go but this time explain how YOU feel. if it doesnt work out you dont need toxic people in your life, its your life and you deserve to be happy. i know how you feel part of my childhood and even into adult hood sounds a little like yours. i cut all ties for 6 years, but then decided to give it one more, but with things on my terms and feeling stronger to actually answer back and disagree when i felt i was being bullied, its worked out alright for me, but i still feel a sense of would i chose this person as a friend if she wasnt my mother, probably no. but its better now. what ever you chose to do, do it for you. good luck.
