I feel your pain.... Legally, Nakheel can not drain the pool which is why they claim it is for "maintenance" reasons. Sadly, the pools most likely have already received damage due to the draining in this heat & sun. We have been advised to start calling the police & contacting the media about anything and everything. The more people that do the same the better.

Has anyone else filed a complaint with RERA? This is "scare" tactics at its finest. I encourage everyone to start writing to the media and let them know what is truly going on. Draining the pools, threatening to turn off the lifts, discontinue garbage pickup & shut off the A/C. Their has been one little article in the National but that is simply not enough. I do not think Nakheel would like their name all over the headlines. It's worth a try.

I went to Nakheel on Thursday and was told that the pools will be back up & running this week. I would love to believe that it is true. Nothing more depressing than looking out at an empty pool : ( Any other updates?

They are in grade 4. I am not sure if they have learning support? I would imagine so. Currently they have around 7 students per class.

Yes, we would like to give our children a pet for Christmas and their birthday which is within the same week. We have just made the decision as a family that we will be in the UAE for a very long time. Both of my children and myself are very allergic to pet dander. I have been checking K9 and most of the pets are a mix breed and unfortunately shed. Thank you for your response.
