Better to get it done in a Salon, normally they use gel polish remover non-acetone based

I am sure this has been posted many times, but I REALLY need a good facial. Can any of you ladies recommend a salon bear Ibn Battuta, Marina, or JLT? Thanks! I have tried several brands and in my opinion there is nothing better than Guinot. I get it done in Marina at Nail Point For the ignorant - what is Guinot? LOL, sorry. Guinot Institute Paris is a fantastic line of professional skin care products. You can even find some of them in pharmacies...

I pay 50 AED for the paraffin wax. Don't know about Juice Salon, I go to Nail Point in Marina.

what do you expect? if an offer is clearly below the cost price, then you should be aware that you get what you pay for. it cannot be that a 1000 aed service is sold for 200, otherwise it means that they normally rip you off. i usually go for discounts that sound reasonable and allow to maintain a certain level of quality

KOKO nails. Amazing, amazing paint! It NEVER chips, even when a day old pedicure had a toe nail turned backwards in the gym. Yes. That good. It looks freshly done even after 2 weeks. My salon owner showed me her week old manicure and told me she cooks at home, has a tiny baby and another young one and it looked like she had just got it done. She told me people insist on Essie so she has started keeping the brand, but once I have used Koko I won't be going back to wishy washy Essie. Essie has a good color range but the paint itself is weak and thin and needs coats and coats to get it to look like the color in the bottle. Koko on the other hand needs 2 coats and you are set for 3 weeks. Love it! edited by Chocobella on 02/05/2013 Totally agree!! Koko is amazingly good, great colours and super long lasting. At NP in Marina they have Koko, Shellac, OPI and Essie, but i still prefer Koko. And my Gal is Baba, quite terrible english but fantastic jobs...

I did KoKo gelish, it's been 3 weeks now and they are still wow, plus the colours are amazing.

I go to Nail Point in Marina View Towers. The prices are quite reasonable (i pay 60 for a trim and 100 for a cut), and the services is excellent. Is business that slow? Huh?

I have restarted going to Nail Point since the new management. Good value for money on nails and hair. Also T&T is good but a bit more expensive.

I definitely prefer gel/gelish, much less damaging your nail, the result is brilliant, the time is shorter, and bla bla bla :)
