Hello I am looking for a HARD wax that I can heat up and use without fabric strips/something that cools down,becomes hard and is easily peeled off and can be reused a few times. I am new to waxing and saw some lady do it and it seemed to be much better than shaving ! LOL Can anyone recommend a brand and tell me where i can get it? Cheers ! I guess you are talking about "Halawa" or "sugar wax". You can find them in most supermarkets like carrefour and lulu's. Most of them are similar so you can go with any brand but make sure not to buy anything thats over a month old.

I recently placed an order via a referral link from a friend. All my items got to my friend's place after being chased for about a week. Since I have a 10 pounds voucher from my referrel, I was planning to use it without spending money of mine. So I placed these socks worth 4.50 and shipping is 2.95 so the total is supposed to be 7.45. If I apply my 10 pounds code, its supposed to be zero but it still shows 2.95. Any idea why? There customer service is pretty much useless.

I do know that some of you usually get your corn flour from C4 or Choithram but can anyone share the exact name of the brand? I went looking for these and couldn't find any other than the Foster Clark's one (which I believe is actually Corn Starch instead).

I was lucky to catch their sale in MOE before the renovations there. Got some nice things too. A bargain is always nice:-) Yes! Do they have these kinda sale every year or was this year an exception? Oh, and when was the sale at MOE? I just bought two items because I couldn't find anything else in my size. However, I am very happy with them :D

I usually take the cheques to the banks that the cheque is issued from and they just give me the money and take a copy of my id. Mine never has any signatures at the back so just take it to the bank and see before asking the LL for his signature. <em>edited by Flames92 on 08/01/2014</em>

VS currently has a 20% off all gift sets offer right now as far as I am aware. Oh and a PINK dog free with any PINK purchase. If anyone is interested, they have bras starting at '39' AED but most bras I saw were AED 49 so still a good deal. <em>edited by Flames92 on 02/01/2014</em>

Wow, I thought that you were announcing! I don't even recall them doing a sale during DSF in previous years. We shall hold our breath then. Bath & Body Works does this awesome "Yellow" sale where they sell everything at 50-75% off. I am addicted to some of their scents and always stock up during the big sale. Plus I want to try out some of their other lines so this seems like a good time to do it. Victoria's Secret does this semin-annual sale and I was looking forward to it. I remember in July-August, they were selling their bras for AED 59. A few days later, they had "further reductions" with bras starting at AED 75! :P Either way, I need to buy some more bras as my size has changed drastically over the past year and seems like this is the perfect time to stock up. The sales ladies at VS told me that sale will be starting soon back in the last week of November and I have been waiting ever since :( I find the VS sales online with shipping much cheaper than the Dubai VS sales. I did place an online order during the Black Friday event and lets just say that my experience wasn't the best. Thus, I won't be ever ordering from VS, unless they have a super good deal. On the other hand, I had a much better experience with La Senza. Got 3 bras and 10 panties for about AED 280 including delivery which I think was a pretty good deal.

I went to La Senza today and they had their semi-annual sale on. Thought the balconette ones where on sale but they were in the usual buy 1 and get 1 50% off department. So glad I bought everything during the Black Friday sale on the official website :D <em>edited by Flames92 on 28/12/2013</em>

I've been a subscriber since they started and it is a bit of a love hate relationship. Some boxes are great and I'm really happy I invested the money. Others are not so great and leave me regretting my decision. I've always subscribed or renewed with an offer so I haven't paid more than 40 AED for any box. For that price I'd say it is worth it. I got to test some lovely products. I'd check the previous boxes and see how you like them: http://www.glambox.me/box I have to say the packaging is beautiful (they collect unwanted boxes every once in a while to recycle them). Just wanted to point out that corn flour (UK) is cornstarch (US). What you might be referring to as corn flour is cornmeal (US) or maize (Africa) All supermarkets have them. They usually carry the brands imported from South Africa. I thought it was called masa harina. Anyway, is it possible to make nachos with these? Can anyone share their recipe for nachos and dips?

unless you work for the UAE Hostel in al qusais...the hostel staff (mainly bangladeshi) works 7 days a week..dont even get any time off during eid or ramadan and they travel home once every 2-3 years..basically working every single day for 3 years...yup I guess the story is the same for mall cleaners who work for 12 hours per day and for only 700 dhs per month :(

So I recently ordered something from Amazon like usually and tried to get it delivered to my freight forwarder (Postaplus). I have done that about 3 times previously with no problems. However, today USPS tried to deliver the package outside their working hours thus was unable to do so citing "business was closed". I clicked on the link to get the item "redelivered", however it says it cannot do so as the service is not available for the address (?) and someone will have to get the package from the local post office. I doubt the freight forwarding company will be willing to do this thus please advise me as to what are my possible options?

I am trying to use my shop and ship account for the first time on Victoriassecrets.com. While trying to enter my shipping address, it does not let me add my account number to the "Last Name" field. Any idea as to how to get around it? Oh btw, VS is having a buy one, get one 50% off, plus 15 dollars off 100 dollars purchase and a free tote bag for Black Friday. I went to MOE and the girl said I am a 34 C. Went inside the fitting room and the lady said I am 32D. I went to La Senza after that and the lady there said I am a 34 D. Tried out some bras there and for balconette (?) ones, I am a 34D and a 32 D for the regular ones. I decided to check out the VS at Dubai Mall as well. Lady told me I am a 32 D and gave me a bunch of them to try on. None of them fit me correctly! -.- I did fall in love with this "balconette" strapless one but most of my boobs were out (even though the band felt just right) so didn't buy that one. Btw, I tried the one in size 32D. Honestly speaking, I doubt whether any of these mass produced bras can fit anyone perfectly. So any idea where can I find customized bras in UAE?

Sorry, I am not of much help but just wanted to suggest you to use a call recording app if you talk to him on the phone. Its a free app...I use the one that's called "Automatic call recorder". Anyway, best of luck with everything.....hope it all works out for you.

I think anything under a kilo is around AED40 over is AED70 per kilo Call Aramex they are really helpful, from UK 5 days. I tend to order at the weekend so they arrive before the next weekend. Go and try them on here and buy online. The sale at VS is always good and I have got bras reduced to AED50 as am a larger cup with small back so there are always plenty left. I was about to buy a hoodie from American Eagle herefor 200 AED but found it online for AED 110 and with the discount code, its about AED 77! So ordering it soon! Anyway, how long does it take for shop & ship to deliver packages from US and UK? UK about 5 days! It is dangerous how quick they deliver clothing ha You can track it online also Haha! Awesome! I am only ordering a hoodie to try it first and hopefully, they wouldn't charge me extra. Anyway, do you have to pay tax/custom charges for clothes?

sorry can't help with the bra but well done on your weight lost - how did you do it? how much did you loose? I need to start gained 2 stone ;-( Hey blossy! It wasn't my intention to lose weight....it happened due to tension and improper eating habits. Unfortunately, now I am in the "skinny" category and trust me, its absolutely the worst.

Comb your hair everyday and protect it against the scorching sun. To make it thicker, try using pure castor oil. Its a bit difficult to spread so either spray your hair with rosewater or mix it with olive/coconut oil to make it easier to spread. Oh, consider the shampoo and conditioner combo in addition to the technique of using them....made a huge difference to mine.

Hi, Planning to buy one, would appreciate reviews. Any problems faced?? Thanks in advance. I have no idea about Beko ones but if you are not in a hurry, try waiting for Carrefour's 40% coupon offer. Basically, you get 40% of the price of your dishwasher back as carrefour coupons + additional myclub points which you can use to buy anything from there except the usual salik and phone credit. The offer was in January and then in May....the next one should be before the end of the year. Oh, I am not sure whether they will actually have that offer but there is no harm in waiting for another 2-3 months in case there is one. Just an opinion.
