How difficult is it to get a teaching position? I am a US teacher with a K-6 license and also for business 7-12. I am not opposed to a nursery or teaching outside of the US curriculum.
I would actually be coming with my husband and there is not an absolute need for me to work but I would like to. I would imagine that it would not be necessary to bring my teaching aids and things as they may not be relative to the school's curriculum in Abu Dhabi. It could also be quite costly to bring all of that stuff that I may or may not get the opportunity to use.
That is what I told my husband when it was suggested. The idea baffled me because his friend previously worked in Abu Dhabi and should have known better. Honestly many times I feel I know more about what is correct than he does.
