I used to book flights for me and my son with my husband's credit C. with no problem: just make sure the billing adress is the same as the card's holder's. ;)

Hi, I think you should check if she has travel insurance (sometimes this service is included for Visa or Mastercard holders). If travel insurance, then u/she should contact them prior to see a doctor (except for emergencies of course). Hope she will get better soon.

No, that's judt too much. If she makes her child wait with yours, then she must be just lazy! This week she said her car broke down but i would still cab it and pick my son up rather than make him wait*with someone else 's maid for an hour. edited by Penny4Thoughts on 02/10/2012 I feel very sorry for that poor kid: a mother who doesn't even bother picking him up from school, just sad !

Hi, My 10 year old son had dizzy spells when lying down, so he had a full hearing and balance test. We went to the Saudi German Hospital because we live very close by (the Greens) but It might a bit far for you? but I was satisfied with the consultation. Tel: 04 389 00 00.

Hello, I would recommend Dr Muna Ali Saqir Hassan at the Dubai Mall Medical Centre: she was very helpful. I am still under treatment but the results are amazing. She even proposed to have a look at my son's hand because I was concerned about a couple of red "spots". There is no long waiting list: when I called I got an appointment for the next day! Hi everyone, this is a very interesting topic as we also have been thinking about our future "retirement". It is hard to choose where to go: UK or France (my DH is from UK, I am from France). I think that there are 2 important factors to take into account: knowlege of the country and the language. I dont think that past 55,I will want to live in a country I dont understand the language: how can you settle and go around your everyday life (find a doctor, ...) if you can't communicate? :\:
