Hi, I totally understand ur feelings n concern about ur mom ...n clessani1's suggestion is right.. ur mom can start by baking for friends n family etc n slowly when people vil c th good work, she vil get orders n so on....good luck.. Thanks for the support :) Like I told clessanil, this activity is illegal in Dubai and I would never ever want to involve my mother in something that is against the law. I would love to get her licensed but unfortunately the license costs a good sum of money, which we cannot afford at this stage... :(

Even you can't open for her license business, you can let her do small business by starting promoting her cakes on pre order basis from your friends and colleagues.Slowly2x when everyone taste her cakes they will order and recommend to other friends around. Good luck! Thank you for that :) The problem is that we already used to do this, and she was VERY successful - all neighbours started ordering from her, and referring her to their friends, etc. However I recently found out that this activity is illegal in Dubai, as people are not allowed to sell food from their houses without a license. So we immediately stopped it just for that.
