DD 3 yrs old into toystory atm she liked Jessie Bullsye and Woody. She also likes her disney characters Minnie, Mickey Daisy etc. She also likes little einteins. HTH

I came across the site whilst I was in the UK and just browsed. I intially signed up after a week I arrived in Dubai. Its a great site am glad I signed up I be lost without it, has great info, advice and along with the bickering too LOL

Are they charging you 25dhs if you dont mind me asking.

Sorry my post doesnt seem clear. DD is shy no siblings and takes time to mix in. Cut the story short. Atm mixture of things going on with DD not sure whether is was down to when we went away for xmas and her first day back was Monday she missed 2 weeks of nursery already. Beside the point DD doesnt seem to want to participate in group activities, she was told to do something she cried and whinge and eventually she gets on with it. Today she sat with teacher and did a jigsaw puzzel and teacher showed her where the puzzel goes and she refused to do it. Apparently teacher says its down to "lack of confidence". Teacher recommends that I should put her in some activity class surrounded with other children her age. I know she very stubborn but I just think its her personality ... For months I have been trying to sort an activity for her and just havent got round in doing so ..Now thats why ive decided to find her a place she will enjoy and mingle with children of her age. I have been meaning to sort a playdate too just havent got round to it. (dont ask me why) I felt terrible after and my only worry now she will not get into a school next year 2012 for FS2 especially wirh assesment no idea if she pass it and she already showing signs not doing or partipating in activities. DH and I have decided to leave her at nursery for FS1 thoiught she way too young to go school then on the other hand Ive been told she most probaly wont get a place for FS2 for 2012 !!!(well thats a different discussion altogether) :(

Hi MB Well, she has been putting her knickers on but then she tends to holds everything in (doesnt want to go on the potty/toilet) Once nappy goes on that it she releases everything! Why I asked about the Pull ups I dont wanting to buy 2 lots of nappies one for day and night (save a bit of money) thought I could use pull ups at nights too.

Afternoon, DD of 3 yrs still drinks milk and if am lucky she will have coco pops in the morning..Most of the time she refuses cereal or bit of cheese on toast ... drives me nuts and I feel like a bad mother sending her DD to nursery and not ate nothing but drinks milk only! Every morning is a struggle to get her to eat advice plzzzzz :(

I am in the midst of potty training my 3 year old daughter, and I am not sure if its going well. She relieved herself on the potty several times and was duly rewarded, clapping and so forth and I assumed her bladder was empty. At her bedtime I put on a diaper for the night (we are in the beginning stages - shame! and so she wears underwear during the day and a diaper at night which I plan to slowly phase out). When I put the diaper on within half an hour it was completely soaked. She had obviously been holding it in. I am worried about the chance of her picking up some kind of infection if she continues to hold it in like this. She is obviously not relaxed enough to let go and completely relieve herself on the potty, and I may have left potty training too late. What now ladies?? Snap! MY DD is also 3 and doing the same. As soon as the knickers goes on she holds it in! fustrating.

Can't beat the observatory in the marriott harbour for views of the marina, palm etc it's on the 52nd floor time it for sunset and you won't be disappointed. Totally agree! DH surprised me on my brthday and had a lovely meal, it was amazing.

To try out a new cream how would you know if the right one for you? When I get samples I just dont think its enough to try and see whether its giving me the results I want as it can take weeks and months to show the results and whether my skin has adjust to it otherwise I just break out in spots etc and end up wasting my money!

Is this the lake near Al seef towers ..The lake that I can see from my bedroom window is empty I was surprised as I was away for only 2 weeks for xmas and come back to see no water. 2 weeks ago it was full ..Very strange indeed!

Some of you mentioned there are places which makes perfume to one's taste. Is it possible to take the scent of a perfume I like and give it to the maker to make it? Where can I go to get this done? Is it possible to have it alcohol free [As DH wants it that way'> Bump. I like to know too.

Jessica maids, can't remeber their number. I use them for ironing they charge 25 an hr. Normally have the girl in for 2 hrs only. They also provide cleaning and babysitting. Will post number later if interested. HTH
