For eyeshadows I would suggest NYX eyeshadows. They are great quality and the colour pigments are really good. A lot of make up artists in USA use them instead of MAC as they say its a perfect copy (dupe) but at a much lower price. Lifestyle centre sells them (the shops next to Splash and Babyshop). To make eyeshadow last longer on your eyelid I would also suggest eyelid primer. Best one is Urban Decay Primer Potion for eyelids. Works great and isnt that expensive. It also lasts a very long time as you just need a little dot on each eyelid. I've just given these a try based in your recommendation and I love, love, love the Eye-shadow pallettes! I was so impressed I bought 4 and got 25% as they are having a promotion! Also a few make-up artists recommended it on their blogs as well, so I'm a very happy convert today :) Have to agree ...I love their lipsticks too I just purchase the automatic eye liner ... Just to add I just purchase the UD Naked Pallette love the selection of the eyeshawdows. Am now tempted to few eye shawdows in NYX.. Thanks everyone for your recommendation x edited by Fr!zzyBusY on 27/10/2012

Sorry am not much help but just want to share. My DD attended a Birthday party there couple of months ago. It was ok, nothing special and yes it was manic. I think at the time they just opened so have no idea if that had anything to do with it... Good luck. Ive also got to plan a party for DD party which is next month.

wow! great responses girls. .Funny enough the some of the brands mentioned below Revlon nyx and to name a few Ive looked at already and wasnt too sure at the time. I must admit I like the matte lipsticks at Loreal or is it Revlon cant remember it goes on as a gloss and then sets matte. Might purchase a few colours in that range. Looks like am off to MOE for spot of make up retail today lets hope its a pleasant trip and noone breathing down my neck ;) Thanks for your input. Much appreciated xx edited by Fr!zzyBusY on 03/09/2012

Hi I was in the same situation as you few months and searched for a class. DD did eton Institute at her school and found she picked it up quite well and then they stopped it since then Ive been searching that will take 4 yr olds. Most of the classes take on 5yrs luckily DD turns 5 soon and will sign up with AF. So fustrating at the age of 4 they seem to obsorb more..I guess it makes no difference only a year but I say the earlier the better.

If the motor is running continually it could indicate a gas leak from the system and there could possibly be a hole in a pipe somewhere. You certainly need a refrigeration engineer to test it. Ok, DH and I was thinking that might be the case. Hope this is not going to cost an arm and leg cannot afford a new fridge freezer seeming this one only 3 yrs old. Thanks amelia. Off to bed now and hopefully I can sleep tonight.

Hi ladies Its been months since my Dyson hoover gave up on me; been wanting to by another one and shocked how expensive it is here and not much variety either. Checked on Dubizzle if I could pick one up secound hand but its very unlikely somone wants to give up their Dyson (I know I wouldnt) DH now checking it, cleaning the filter, checked the fuse and socket..still not working.. My current Dyson still looks brand new; had it for 8 yrs and its such a shame that I have to chuck it away. Would anyone know of a repair centre here that specialises in Dyson?? Your help as always is much appreciated. TIA

Atmosphere at the Burj Khalifa Skyview Bar at the Burj Al Arab One of the restaurants at the Jumeriah Zabeel Saray on the Palm Could be wrong but I seem to think I heard/read somewhere that the only dhow that now serves alcohol is the Bateau Dubai. There won't be any brunches during Ramadan but restaurants will serve alcohol in the evenings. edited by amelia on 07/07/2012 Thanks, Amelia The restaurants you mention are on my list to ring. Thanks. I really like the Pier Chic @ al qasr but they wont allow 4 yr olds :( I wasnt sure what the rules were over ramadan as its my 2nd time staying here this summer...good to know. Will call up some of the dhow cruises and find out if they serve alchoho. Thanks.

Want something with great views and ambience... I saw a deal on cobone 2 hr dhow cruise at the creek has anyone tried them? Whats food like? will they serve alcohol?? Decison Decison! arghhh :( TIA

My poor friend is devastated and I'm looking for advice on anything she could do which might help. She went to The Address last Friday for a film and pool night with friends. Took off her four precious rings and put them in an unzipped pocket in her beach bag, which then went into a locker. It was later taken out of the locker and back to the poolside, where she rummaged for her purse. Took it home in a taxi later. Next morning at home, bag on work surface, no rings. She feels they are more likely to have fallen out, so not necessarily stolen from her bag. RTA have already said nothing found in the taxi. No joy from the hotel either. They must have been picked up by someone though. Is there anything else she should do? Any suggestions greatly appreciated - she's in pieces. Thanks. Omg What is it today ..your friend lost rings and me left shopping in taxi...this has to be the worse week ever ... Fingers crossed for us both x

Hi Coolgemini My DD also 4 yrs has been on and off with cold, cough, ear infection and growing pains. Paed. said shewill grow out of it but am just so sick and tired of her being ill and trips to the doc which costs and arm and leg I was told that she was a premature baby and thats probaly why she often gets ill ( not sure how true that is). Though she has been well up till the Easter holidays and now she back at school she already been off school twiice. Like your DD, my DD loves the water too and everytme she has a splashpool day she comes back with a cold, runny nose and a cough that will take months to shift. So I just hope our DD grows out it. Sorry have no advice about the .SINGULAIR ,, Hope your DD feels better soon x

Hi Ladies Feedback: UD I found the eye primer good which am trying out at the moment and my eye makeup is still on, no creaes or fading so far. I wanted to buy the setting spray from UD and they have ran out (so that means it does what it says on the bottle and plus the reviews was good) Am unsure about the UD face primer, its okish but Ive yet to try others before I make my decison. Where can I find bare essentials - forgot to check while I was at Sephora. HTH ladies Will post again ..whether UD is the one..so far I was impressed by the eyeshadows (might buy the Naked Pallette) gorgeous colours.
