I think he has to change the visa to a new sponsor then there is a condition that she has to pay 500 AED for Inside country fee. But best to call the AMER service at DRNA. You can get there number from dnrd website www.dnrd.ae.

Just remembered the pediatric surgeon. I hope you won't have to go this route but he's highly recommended. Dr. Wasfi Jaouni. His clinic is next to DCC and he has surgeries out of city hospital and I believe a few others. Can you please tell me what was the cost of the suregery at the clinic ? Also was it covered in insurance ?

First of all thank a lot for your recommemdation. Can you please tell me how much was the cost of the surgery ? Was it covered in the Medical Insurance ? Your son's surgery was performed at American Hospital or at the clinic you mentioned in Deira? Thanks once again, that was really helpful. Hi there Not the same medical condition but i have a recommendation for a surgeon for your son. My 2 month old had an inguinal hernia at 5 weeks old. It required urgent surgery which was performed by Dr Jaouni. He is a paediatric surgeon based in Deira. He operates out of American Hospital and was absolutely fantastic. When we went to see our paediatrician one week after my sons's surgery (for his 6 week checkup), she couldn't even see the scar from his surgery.

My DS has left side testicle undescended by birth. He had surgery when he was 1.5 years old for this problem. At that time after surgery it was ok. Now we again noticed that the testicle is not there. Is there anyone had similar experience , i am really worried about it ? Can you please tell us how was the experience with the Dr ? Will this surgery will be covered in insurance (Second one after another surgery)? If not, what's the cost of the surgery ? What are your recommemdations for Pediatric Surgeons and Hospitals? What they will do to prevent if from going up after the surgery. Thanks in advance

What they will do to prevent if from going up after the surgery. Hey, My DS had the operation 3 years ago (when he was 1), it was done here at the American hospital by a fantastic paediatric urinary tract surgeon (i am desperately trying to remember his name! lovely guy) The Dr operates at few hospitals & has his own clinic. I will call our normal Dr. Tomorrow & ask him. DS was fine no problems at all, we went in a 7am & where home by mid-afternoon (little kids cope so much better) General anaesthetic, the op took about 1 hour. He has no visible scars from the 2 incisions. Anyway email me on laura-vanderlinden @ hotmail. Com i will track the Dr’s name down for you. Laura
