Congrats to all of you... I am another second timer... due mid Jan... have a 2.5 year old daughter.. I am with Dr. Amal Badi. I love her... had a few friends deliver with her and she is very pro normal delivery if anyone is concerned about unnecessary c-section. She also delivers at City Hospital. I have heard they are good there... My last birth was at the American which was excellent but I heard alot of their best midwives have left. At the end of the day the midwives are the ones that can make or break the experience. I am on the fence about finding out the gender.... I didn't last time and it was wonderful not knowing... I knew it had to be one or the other but it was still a surprise. But this time is different as it would be good to make some room but Hubby doesn't want to. I am also still feeling very sick and no energy at almost 15 weeks. With my first pregnancy it was all behind me at 12 weeks and I felt amazing so I am hoping this will pass soon and I can start to enjoy it. Wishing all of you an excellent pregnancy

My adult teeth came through with a very small amount of enamel. On top of that my parents were not very strict about me cleaning my teeth and I have also always had a VERY sweet tooth and used to sneak chocolate and sweets to bed and eat them late at night... not a good combination. I had most of the work done in the UK as a teen and young adult so big amalgam fillings that have since deteriorated causing new decay around the old filling... the abscesses are a chronic problem in my front teeth only.... so in y 20's my 'dead' teeth looked awful so I had veneers done... they were awful so I replaced them with i nice set of 4 crowns and 2 veneers by a dentist here 10 years ago. I have VERY long roots so don't know if that can be a factor. Anyway. The root canal was 1200...and the large back filling 490... I was in his chair for 2 hours coz there was so much work to be done to sort out this abscess that 3 other dentists did not manage to fix. Dr Bushnaq is a British Arab an he is really nice, very gentle (I felt NO pain) and very qualified. He worked in UK for many years then came here and worked for Al Zahra Clinic, The Dental Studio and now has his own practice in DIFC.
