Hi, Could someone please recommend a good dermatologist in Dubai. My husband every now and then gets these huge as pimples in random places on his face, he has one his cheek and his entire cheek is swollen. Thanks.

not sure of the rates... but have you thought of InSafeHands RTA service... they might be able to accommodate that... or is there a nursery just across your child's school that could offer babysitting service for those two hours? these are all options that people I know have used Let me check them out.. thanks a mill..

Have you checked with families in your compound or neighbourhood to see if any of them go to school at the same place? If so, you could car pool. You can offer to do any one pick up and/or drop off in exchange... I am in the same situation but thankfully we have a family in our compound who we can car pool with Does the school in concern offer a sibling club... that might be the solution though I believe most sibling clubs would only start a couple of weeks into school thanks HorizonMum2. We recently moved to Al Furjan Area and i work in Downtown, the kids go to school in Jumeirah so it is a real mess and i am really stressing over this. the school offers sibling club but only for FS2 as they finish an hour before the rest, seems like they cant cater for 2 hours :(.

Hi Ladies, I have a problem and I don’t know what to do. MY sun will finish school at 2:30 in sept and my daughter will be starting FS1 in the same school but will finish at 12:30. I work full time and although my work is flexible I cannot spend hours on the road doing pick-ups and drop offs (not at 2 different times!). Does anyone have a driver that they won’t be needing around lunch time and willing to make extra money? Anyone in a similar situation? What willy ou be doing? Thanks, FM

Hi The friend that bought it is from the UK and it was almost 3 years ago ;-) so I doubt she will remember. It is next to one of the open cafes in the middle of the ground floor of Dubai Mall but not near the aquarium if that helps. Sorry I don't know the name or the location they display them next to the café it isn't a shop as such ok i will go looking for it. thanks xxx

I don't know if this will help but for my birthday my friends managed to get me a Chanel Handbag cake. It was made to order and they got it from the ground floor of Dubai Mall. I cant give the exact location though. Maybe they can help thank you, any idea what the place was called, if you could ask your friends please xxx

Hi I'm holding on to mine, sorry as I am likely to use them later in the year. Bear in mind though that most places won't let you use more than 4 vouchers per booking. lucky you hehehe. i called and they said we can split the tables into 2-3 bills as long as they dont have more than 4 per bill.

both of my kids were born in NZ and we dont want the child to have a 'different' place of birth. Also, i want to be with the family so they can help out with the kids, it will be nice to have their support. i called the school today and the lady at reception couldnt answer my question, she said she will forward my question to the Year 1 leader but i have not yet heard back from her, thought i would post on here to see if anyone has been in a similar situation.

Hi Ladies, was having a chat with a friend and mentioned that we are thinking about baby no. 3 and that i will go back home to give birth. she said its either we try now or next year same time as i wont be able to pull my kids outof school for more than 22 days or else they fail the year? my son will be in year 1 next year and daughter will be in FS1 @ kings Dubai. do i really need to plan my due date around summer hols so that i can travel with them? thanks, FM

Hi, My husband works at DU. He takes our daughter to school every morning and comes home around 6:30pm for dinner. He does work a bit longer very occasionally if he has a late meeting, and sometimes sends a few emails in the evening from home after he's put our girl to bed. He used to work same hours back in London. thank you so much for your msg. is it really true that every 2 years they under go a big restructuring and let go of pple?
