So confused! I have done a lot of research and read that the Kerastraight KS is the safest treatment. I also read that the FDA put out a warning regarding the formaldehyde in the brazilian blowout. Where is the best place to go for the kerastraight? Have only read about Pastels and Ted Morgans. Any other choices?

I ended up calling Khaleel. He was prompt in coming over, but instantly knew I had found him on expatwoman! He quoted the price mentioned here before for our 7 seater sectional (5600 dhs). I chose a nice chenille material, he redid the cushions and delivered exactly on the date stated. Our sofa seems completely new and I love it. I do think it is a pricey makeover though, and maybe I could buy a new one for the same price. We are really attached to this one though and happy with our decision!

We have a 10 year old 7 seater couch in our family room. Does it make sense to reupholster or is it better to just buy new? it is a great couch but the cushions and seats will need more foam and the upholstery will have to go. Any ideas?

Hi Ladies. I am with Dr. Humeira Badsha who is wonderful. The way I understand it from her is that medications such as methotrexate have been proven to prevent joint damage. However, she says that diet and exercise such as yoga definitely have a role to play. She recently suggested I read a book called "Clean" which outlines a detox program which can help with autoimmune disorders. I have not read it but she says the basis of the diet is eliminating gluten, dairy, and add blended or juiced veggies. Please let me know when there is a meeting of the group

I see Dr. Humeira Badsha for my arthritis and find her wonderful and not drug happy at ll. In fact I saw her after seeing another rheumatologist who was giving me steroids regularly. She has me off steroids completely. Most importantly, she has discussed how my diet influences my flare ups. In fact my friend sees her for fibromyalgia and she encouraged her to exercise more and change her diet. hope this helps.

I also see Dr. Badsha and she is great. I was curious about the antibiotics mentioned for RA. What are they and how do you get them?

Hope you got to a Rheumatologist. I have been with Dr. Humeira Badsha for the last 2 years after having seen the other doctors mentioned here. She has the best technology and is able to do ultrasound scans on my joints to help the diagnosis. She also is caring, compassionate, and very professional. She is Beach Park Plaza 04-3856009. Good luck!
