I'm sorry I wasn't clear in my earlier post......I should still be doing cruise phase but seemed to have slipped into consolidation on weekends or some days when I eat out. I still have not reached my true weight! Today was pp and i've had cooked oat bran for breakfast, 2 boiled eggs and 4 slices roast beef for lunch. I'll be having some more roast beef for dinner and natural skimmed yoghurt mixed with flavored fat free yoghurt. Plum, the mango and apple has a few fruit pieces in it but the strawberry and vanilla does not.

Falling off the wagon........... I've kind of been following the consolidation diet so not really falling off the wagon, at least I've been able to keep my weight stable. Good to know that it is possible to eat normally without piling the pounds back on! But today I'm back on it. I only have a few more kilos to lose but boy are they hard to drop. It's not the diet that is difficult to follow it's me being lazy with eating options. I really do stick to what I know is safe on pp days and then get very bored with it or don't eat at all. How are you doing with your diet?

I still have the other "normal" child to deal with though....and he is up at the crack of dawn! Hates going to sleep, tosses all night, in and out of my bed every night (and he is five!) and up bright and early as the sun comes up despite black out curtains!

Depends if there is something else going on ie illness, fever or a complete change in routine. I have a freak second baby who sleeps from 7pm to 10am and usually every third day or so until 12pm. Doctors are not worried and she is healthy and thriving, apart from a few bouts of tonsillitis and strep this year only, but she has always slept that much.

Seriously I was salivating looking at those pictures. Makes me want to stop being lazy-get off my B**t and make a delicious Dukan dinner. Then will do either prawns, chicken or steak for dinner and sweet galette for dessert. Ladygodiva, did your doctor tell you the diagnosis ie what TYPE of acne you have? There are many ways to treat acne. Like I said previously, I have had one of the more severe types of acne and had it treated with roacutane and more recently without. There are no quick fixes and home remedies for certain types of acnes. You need a good doctor who will answer all your questions and work with you on a solution that suits you!

The VIP option only assists in the application process and delivery of passport with visa. It does not get an appointment any sooner but does let you jump the queue. It does not speed up the processing time to grant the visa but give you SMS feedback confirming a) when the application is received by the consulate and in progress and b) another text on the day the visa is granted It also includes delivery if your passport back to you. Eta I have not looked at obtaining the visa through Swiss consulate but if done through France it is the central visa agency I mentioned edited by gemm3210 on 21/06/2011

It is done through a central office. http://www.vfsglobal-fr-ae.com/ The most important thing is to call NOW for your appointment. They will not accept your application without an appointment and they accept only a limited number of applications daily. This was my experience when applying in March. Eta...you can pay 150 dhs for VIP service which means far less queuing and guarantee that your application will be received on your appointment date. Means that you can also email any outstanding docs to them (if any), you will receive a text when your application has been processed and delivery of your passport to you. edited by gemm3210 on 21/06/2011

Well after a whopping 4+kg down in the first week, the loss was a miniscule 200g this week. Maybe a blip on the scales. Maybe it's evened out, as 4 1/2 kilos over 2 weeks sounds much more believable. Maybe I need to be stricter. I have been having low-fat (not skimmed ) milk at work, maybe 4 cups a day. My 0%fat fruit yoghurt does have fruit bits in it and I haven't been exercising every day. I'll try upping the exercise and bring some skimmed milk to work. Overall I'm sleeping so much better and feel good (and thinner) so it's all positive really. Plum you've done great! 4kgs is a lot! Definitely try to get the grocery items exactly as the book says ie skim milk and yoghurt without fruit pieces. You are making all the effort to adhere to the diet you may aswell get maximum results by using the lower fat / sugar free products!

For those in the cruise phase I thought I'd let you know I made the vegetable soup from the diet book today. Not bad at all and it really does fill you up. Great for pv days. Last night I made the pepper steak recipe from the diet book. The only thing I did different was deglaze the pan with red wine when I flipped the steak over to cook the other side. After removing the cooked steak and deglazed again with some boiling water and added the yoghurt and salt into the pan for a lovely thick sauce.

Hope it wasn't Dr Nasr of Dermacare you saw because Im about to recommend him. I've had teenage and adult acne vulgaris (sounds and looks awful!). I was prescribed Roaccutane at 13 and again at 24 and then the acne returned about a year and a half ago. I went to see a derma at a hospital covered by my insurance and he immediately said I needed to go back onto Roaccutane. To cut a long story short I was very apprehensive to take Roacutane at that point in my life as I was just recovering from PND and was concerned about how the drug made me felt in the past. Dr Nasr did not recommend Roactane immediately. Instead he used a combination of 3 topical creams and ointments in the morning, 2 topical treatments in the evening and antibiotics. I had to do 2 courses of this treatment ( a couple of months in-between each) and my skin is absolutely clear. If you haven't tried him yet then I would recommend you do. Goodluck

Hi Gemm 3210 It's going OK. No I haven't found any quark or low-fat yoghurt yet. I keep looking. Had a hard day today. Nothing I was supposed to eat was appealing. I ended up making a bowl of oat bran porridge. Just needed some comfort food I guess. How are you doing? Good days and bad days.....but Weight is still coming off slowly but surely so that keeps me on the straight and narrow! I have actually been really lazy and stuck to the foods I know are acceptable to eat so from today I'll be trying one new recipe every pp day. The non-fat yoghurt to buy is Dr Oetker, strawberry and vanilla flavours are available at Geant, Spinneys and Carrefour. I mix equal amounts of non-fat flavored yoghurt and skimmed natural yoghurt. For comfort food I make a sweet galette. How's your weight loss going?
