we had a cake shop last week near the world trade center- taste&look great- was a bit doubting and worried first- as they only charged half the price compared to the famous ones here in dubai- but the result was gorgeous! gave them a picture and they made exactly what I asked for! Let me know if you're interested :)!

Maybe I do not get it right, but usually you don't need a base for your car. You can also fix it without the base, and if you don't have a buggy get the one from maxi cosi so you can fix it without adaptors.

Obviously reality shows that most of the women have not learned to handle this like the ones they were talking about in this thread... All those celebrities your mentioning with beautiful long hair- can't imagine that the average woman over 40 does have a hairstylist, who dries and styles the hair everytime...and a makeup artist to make it just as perfect as those mentioned. You don't need a hairstylist and make-up artist. You can learn to do these things yourself.

All those celebrities your mentioning with beautiful long hair- can't imagine that the average woman over 40 does have a hairstylist, who dries and styles the hair everytime...and a makeup artist to make it just as perfect as those mentioned jane seymour, or cindy jackson...who btw does have like millions of lost sisters all around the world- cause all of those woman with fake lips, cheeks, nose, tattood brows, face lifting, teeth bleaching, and botox packages do look the same- ever noticed?a bit weird... and as it was ME posting this no long hair after 40 comment- and finally when it comes to taste its always subjective- so don't take it personal, cause at the end there isn't a general roule for taste... some people need guidelines to manage themselves and feel more secure...others just live life with a personal gusto ;)...

Absolutely one's handbag and purse must match. Also don't forget no long hair after 40 and no white shoes after Labour Day. *I appear to have woken up in the 1950s* LMAO....hahah I really do think no long hair after 40 ;) it's over with glidder slides and crunchy the only reason to have long hair for girls... and regarding this thread- consider 3 bags that I use regularly- this would mean, that I've to change my wallet everytime I pick one of my designer bags??? uuuuh, never so bored or unemployed to do that- I've got a designer wallet really simple and do not fuss around when it comes to changing my bag from black to brown and using this one wallet...

My Baby started with solids when she was 5 months (75g)! Started with a bit, checking if she likes the pumpkin and added day by day a bit more ( parsnip, sweet potatos,carrots)...after a week a Second vegetable...and on and on, now with 7 months I added another solid meal with steamed apple, peas, plum, and Special grains like millet and oat, mixed with water! What you wrote doesn't Sound as much...when you Start to give a Full meal then it would be too much to add a Full bottle afterwards... But in your case, all Good :)

I don't want to comment on the things going on between you two, but as a child of divorced parents, a cultural background where woman do not have the Same rights as man do have, and studying law in a european country I can only give you this advice- for the Good of all, sort your problems out on a field where you're safe! This means deal with all of this in a country with equal rights, social support and where you might know your rights and options in detail- therefor all the best!!

Don't worry aptamil one is great, no need to switch...I even feed my baby with aptamil pre, which is a european product, the lightest version...and she's 7 months. As long as your baby feels good with one, it's the best reason to go on with it... :)

Why clean 6 at the same time- split it up-it makes it easier :) each time three, and we've got a steriliser, but cleaning that each time takes more time- so safe your time- take a pot boil it and there you go... I fill up my flask with fresh boiled water- cause after a while you know when it's time to feed, and start to prepare- and if you do care about sterilised items, fill in your flask with fresh boiled water. When I'm out, I always prepare a bottle with 100ml water, which cools down by the time, and if you do forget to prepare it on time, and your in a rush, it goes fast without a screaming baby ;)! sterilise does make sense to a certain point- you can't sterilise everything around your baby- so just listen to your inner voice, cause you'll find hundred opinions to the simplest things and after reading them, you get even more confused.

I'm new in Dubai with my little baby, and think of getting a live in maid, or one that comes around regularly to help me out. My questions: What kind of work does your live in maid do? Can I find one, who comes around for a few hours, and does some cleaning or takes care of my baby while I go to the gym, or do things where I can't take my baby with me? Or does it necessarily has to be a live in maid? Do they all have to have a seperate room, or can she stay in my babies room?

As we were flying now for the 4th time with my 6month old daughter, and last time even without my husband the most important part is your flight back without him! Try to take the pram with you into the plane- they took my pram, really big 3 pieces inside. Don't give it away as luggage, cause then you gotta carry her&maxicosi&diaper bag from the plane to the place where you'll get your luggage! Long way to Walk :(... Tell them otherwise they can carry your stuff! We had the car seat on the plane as well, they give it back to you after landing. Emirates offers strollers for the way but it's only helpful when your baby can sit ;) And smile when your baby starts to cry ;) and stay relaxed...maybe she even enjoys the flight...take off&landing baby bottle or breast feeding, and whenever you need a break, ask a stewardess to help you :)....
