Hi Rosie, I was not sure so just called them to check again. They confirmed that they give cars to new drivers even if the license is one day old. Second yes there is slight change in the insurance policy. They cover 90% of the insurance for new drivers instead of 100%. So God Firbids if you meet a accident you will have to pay 10% if its your fault and ofcourse some minimum demage amount which is standard. You can still ask them in more detail when needed 052-899 6262 I hope this will help

so sorry to hear about your situation. I know this law because i went through this back then when i was having new license. i really know how bad it feels to have driving permit but not the car to drive. i can suggest you to try small/medium rent a cars instead of going to big dealers. one of highly recommended is Future star rent a car you may google the contact number. It is in Qusais but they delivery of the cars all over dubai. I used to contact Abdul Rehman C/O Sohail anjum (family friend) to get discounts. never had any issues with them and price was better than dollar or thrifty. Best of Luck

haven't used kids service but used Careem quite sometimes and they were always excellent. Polite well behaved. Value for money!!

Hey Spook, I had recommended them earlier too. Call Man With the Van (Amir 055 8633396) they are highly recommended. I had moved quite some time ago and had used their services. Excellent service, best price and zero demage. I am not sure but i think they do the maintenance work as well and can do your paint job also. you can check with them so it will be one stop shop.

once used a chauffer from airport.. don't remember the company name but the guy was very polite and friendly. though it was expensive for one time trip but service was amazing. You may get better price if its on regular basis. haider 055 7034132

Cars and fuel are very cheap here comparatively... check dubizzle.com for second hand cars. Food is also cheap so don't worry. Only thing expensive here is accommodation. At least I find it expense.

I have the similar prob with my s4. Its a touch wiz virus which pops up everytime. Also my data stops working and need to restart my device like 10 times a day :| Will AVG work for that too or anything else I can do to fix it other than formatting.. dont wana loose all my data on the phone.. :(
