Someone is selling 5 of them on Dubizzle for 100 dhs :\: I've had a horrible time finding things for the Advent pumps here - like the simple valves. Good luck! edited by Kaba on 24/06/2012 That is crazy, I just bought a pack on Amazon UK for AED 26 Perkynana, how much you pay for the delivery to Dubai from Amazon?

That's super helpful, thanks susandiaz! The lady at Latifa told me Umm Suqeim, but I'm not sure if Nad Al Sheba is actually closer to us (we're in Al Waha and the lady at Latifa didn't seem to know where that was!). I guess I'll just have to pop down to Umm Suqeim with all my paperwork and see what happens :D. DubaiCat - please let me know which hospital they will register you in. I am also in Al Waha area (Layan) - will be helpful to know

Anyone else used Patrick at JetSet ??? I have tried so many salons and still not satisfied. I am still confident male hairdressers are the best.

Anybody tried Kalimati Center in Mirdif? I've heard they are very good. Kids First is too expensive.

JS, you are absolutely right, I just have to cope with it until I get another job. I definitely do not want to go and speak to him as I think it will show that i feel guilty for any reason. I also think that he is waiting for me to come knowing my nature to fight for my rights and my own opinion, and it also shows that he needs me to come and ask as he cannot have enough strength to start the conversation himself. He is just so small going behind my back. I will sit and wait and then we will see. Any tips how to get a new job, ladies? I am a PA since 7 years and most of the bosses are moody!! I would definitely be very upset if my boss asks the receptionist to arrange his trip and maybe he is trying to eliminate you or I would say "Make you feel that he doesn't need your help" then this would make you feel upset and resign.. Don't do that and just try to live with it until you find another job.. Or go and speak politely to him and see why he is treating you like this.. Maybe he is upset from you because you were on sick leave while he needed you to be in the office for urgent/ important work.. I don't know how to put it in words but bosses are so selfish and they don't simply care if you sick.. getting the work done is what is important.. And Kid Vs Kat is right, if you have a car loan or personal loan and you get fired then the company might inform your bank and your account will be frozen (mainly all your money will be taken for the loan)..

No Eva, once I was back, he tried to find if I made any mistakes (he failed), then (I think) he tried to check if my sick leave certificate was fake, and that's it, if he needs anything he would have asked me, now i think he is trying to find a way to fire me, so my question is "can he do so without a termination notice and without a valid reason, the answer is probably 'no' , but it is not that easy emotionally. <em>edited by ginger7 on 17/03/2011</em>

JS, thanks for your advise, I don't think to resign unless I have a better proposition. To go & speak to him - maybe he is just waiting for me to come and ask ... I really don't know, it is now since 2nd week I am back from my leave and he almost doesn't address a word to me, while I am an EA and have been in touch with him 100 times a day.

Hi Ginger, I would just go and talk to him politely. That you notice that your responsibilities have been delegated and that, now that you are back from leave, you can take over again. Whenever I had something at work I went to talk (stay at the topic 'work' not 'feelings') and it always worked out for me. Might just work for you... Hi Eva B, that's the point - my responsibilities are being delegated with me present at my desk, not while I was sick, so I am ending up doing nothing, because he "prefers" somebody else doing it. It is very clear from his side, isn't it?

I was on sick leave for one week and when i resumed, have a feeling my boss is searching for a good reason to fire me. He even delegated my direct responsibilities to someone else. Any advise or experience ? What does the law say in this situation.
