So.....my Bum Genius V4s arrived today.....and I am in love!!!! They are adorable and the colours are nicer than I imagined, as are the nappies! Great quality. Soooo pleased with my purchase. If they work as well as they look I am onto a winner! :)

[b'>I wouldnt sleep on a 2nd hand mattress so wouldn't expect my child to. And also the SID's connection. These can be bought cheaply from mamas and papas at the outlet mall. [/b'> So you never stayed in a hotel then...;)

Hi ladies. I have ordered Bum Genius V4 AIOs for when my first baby arrives in March. Do you recommend that I also order fleece liners too or is there a need? I read somewhere that a fleece liner in an already fleece lined nappy can acually cause more leaks. I read elsewhere that a fleece liner will prevent staining from very runny newborn poos and also keep baby drier for a little longer so as you can see I am a little confused! I would be most grateful if you could reply and let me know what you think! :) Also...which would be better, shaped liners or regular rectangular ones? edited by gingercat on 13/01/2012

If you have to pay it's a joke in my opinion! I hate the way the estate agents can tell you anything when they want you to move in and get away with it....surely it should be mentioned that there is a fee for the gym!! Plus, with only 2 gyms for all the towers it is hardly worth paying a lot of money. I really hope the security guy got it wrong! :)

Thanks ladies. Just got the fleece liners in case. They were very cheap so no loss if I don't use them.Didn't think I would need a pail liner either so thanks for that! Saves me buying one. I will try and locate some waterproof bags next. I imagine a camping/sports shop will have them as swim bags etc. Thanks again! :)

So sad for you and your hubby. I had two. After my first I got my period about 5 weeks later. I got pregnant immediately after the second one so didn't have a period. You are right. It is so hard on husbands too. After the first, my husband cried. It is the only time I have ever seen him cry. Still upsets me when I think of it. You are lucky to have each other. Take all the time you need to get through this. Try again as soon as you feel ready. Don't listen to anyone else. You will know what is right for you. Wishing you lots of good luck and praying for you xx

Officially there are no dogs allowed but I've seen lots of people with dogs. I think if they are not barking and nobody complains it's fine. Our Estate agent is Green Properties I think...will have to double check. We just found the apartment on Dubizzle.

PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION! I do not want to give you false hope but I want to share with you what happened to me...I was told by a Doctor that I had a blighted ovum..he could see the sac but there was no baby inside. He wanted me to have a D and C. I resisted, got a second opinion a week later and there was a little baby with a heartbeat beating away. According to the Doctor I was 6 weeks and five days pregnant which meant that when I had the scan the previous week I was 6 weeks pregnant and it was just to early to see anything. I cried with relief that my baby was okay...I am currently 30 weeks pregnant. My HCG was very low in the beginning and was not doubling every 48 hours but was rising. I well definitely pray for you. I relied on so many prayers and so far it has worked for me. My thoughts are with you....xxxxx edited by gingercat on 02/01/2012

Love Vienna! So full of culture and so easy to get around. You pay 6 euro (adult)for an all day train ticket which you can use to explore the whole city. Great museums to see lots of Klimt's work. Try to go see Hundertwasser house. It is very impressive. Pension Nossek (b and b) is right on the Graben, is really good value, spotlessly clean, very cute and in a great location. Mozart himself even lived in the building at one stage. Enjoy! :)

A 3rd for Executive Towers! Podium level is lovely with plenty of grassy areas for kids to play and two nice pools with kids' pools. I feel it's the next best thing to living in a villa. We paid 90000 for a very spacious 3 bed plus maid's room. Spinneys, Gloria Jean's Coffee Shop, Auntie Anne's, Curry Box, Subway, Pharmacy all open downstairs. Lebanese and Chinese restaurant due to open in the next few weeks. You can walk to Metro and Dubai mall too. Come have a look and see what you think :)

We are not getting ours for a few months as I was given a present of a rear facing car seat that is from newborn until 13kg. It's a Maxi Cosi Citi. We are going to use this from newborn as the Britax Hi Way is not suitable on Hakan's advice until 4 months old approx. When baby grows out of Maxi Cosi we will get the Britax delivered from carseats.se. Our's is a Pajero 5 door. Is yours? x

Thank you all for the very helpful replies. I was afraid people would think I was crazy wanting to use washable nappies! Pancakemum, I will take your advice and get a family member to bring out a few after Christmas and then as advised by Kie will contact Sophia from mayangels and try out a couple from her. Thanks so much for all the advice ladies. I am hoping that if I begin using cloth nappies I won't know any different lol! This is my first baby so am really keen to give them a go! :)

Sorry Daisy. I know it was a nursery you were suggesting, but perhaps I wasn't clear. I was just explaining why I would rather a nursery than a nanny. :) I will contact Littlewoods today. They are actually quite near to us which is fantastic. The others would be a bit far in order for me to get to work on time. We are in the Downtown area. Thanks for all your suggestions ladies. I will contact all of these nurseries and see how I get on. :)

Thanks so much ladies! Had a small heart attack when I was told this. Especially when I had done so much research in finding the right buggy for us! (In a slightly obsessive manner....hubby actually banned me from the internet) Not planning to do real off-roading but just wanted something durable and well able for uneven ground and the beach. You have really made me relax. Thank you. Phew. xxx PS One more question....do you leave the buggy in the car or do you bring it inside the house with you each time? This is my first pregnancy so I am completely clueless! edited by gingercat on 19/11/2011

Thanks Daisy! Just not keen on the idea of my baby spending all day with someone that I don't know much about. I would never ask a stranger to take care of my baby at home so don't want to have to compromise here and feel nurseries are a safer option with properly trained staff etc. Do you have any idea of how much baby care fees are? Can't seem to access any fee structure on their website.
