I recently visited Orthodontix Dental Clinic for a root canal procedure. I was highly impressed by the friendly and professional attitude of the entire team. All queries were answered patiently. The procedure was totally painless and the doctor made me feel at ease. The charges were very reasonable. The clinic is pretty posh & is located very close to Deira City Center metro. The best part is that there is free parking in the same building., Will highly recommend the clinic to anyone who is looking for a good affordable dentist in Dubai.

I had ordered items 3 times. Twice there was no problems at all. The third time was a disaster with an ipad which had a crack in the screen and the issue was sorted out after 3 months after multiple messages and phone calls, not to mention the head ache involved. Maybe I guess I was unlucky the third time.:(

For normal fillings and cleaning I recommend Dr. Madhu as the charges are reasonable. However if you are looking out specifically for an orthodontist my recommendation will be Dr. Nazeer Ahmed Meeran. He is extremely good and the charges are very much reasonable compared to other orthodontists in Dubai. Can you please tell me how much does Dr. Nazeer charge for braces? I know that every case is different, but I was quoted 15k for up braces, up an down. For correction of my irregular teeth I was quoted 10k for metal braces. Other "reputed" clinics quoted me between 13-18 K for the same treatment.

Big surprise, inflation is set to double in 2014. That's according to a report from Standard Chartered cited in today's 7Days. Happy New Year! It has already started. Just check out the crazy rents for the past few months.

I honestly don't know why these people are being "celebrated" as such. Agree, ban them, take cars away for a few years, put them on intensive driving courses, with proper trainer driving professionals and then have to learn to pass to INTERNATIONAL standards. If they drive without license - jail time - simples, a danger to themselves and everyone on the road!! Thought less My US friend said that speeding fines are linked to his insurance, the more he speeds the higher the insurance costs. Another said they will automatically take the fine from your bank account. Now there is an idea! If the fines are automatically taken from the bank account, some crazy drivers will soon have a nil bank balance.

WHy don't these LL's understand that the Expo is SEVEN years away? There's no excuse to bump up costs NOW. It's pure greed and nothing more. Now you are talking about logic in Dubai. I just want to know what the rent might be in 2020.
