Ladies you are fantastic, thank you for all the below:) Well I called Bridgestone (Al Nabooda) and the total including wheel alignment would come to AED4340 so already saving a little more. I don't want to go with super cheap tyres as would like something decent but still saving 1-1.5k is still great as my OH got a price of around 6k for Dunlop tyres through his friend! Needless to say, happy I did my own homework:) Cheers ladies

Thanks Marina..will check it after work as can't open the link at work:( We are now staying there tomorrow night as would get up there too late today. My OH is racing in the radical cup and his friends race in the GT race, hopefully they all go well :) Hope you enjoy, its a beautiful circuit, pretty quiet up there as not that many people go up to watch.

Agree with Kid Vs Kat advise, writing a letter to your mum and telling her how much you love her and want to support her are the main things you need to tell her during this time. You may never understand why she treats you this way or takes your brothers side however she will know that she has a daughter that loves her very much. I had not spoken with my father for many months (12 maybe) before last May 2010 when I received a call from home he had cancer (52 yrs old). The worst thing was we never had a bad word between us, just grew apart, he was not too involved in my life growing up (parents divorced) but when I got that call I couldn't get home quick enough just to say I loved him. We were never told how agressive it was as my dad did not want us to worry, I returned to Dubai and 6 weeks later went home again to be by his side and say good bye. You never know when the time will come, you need to do everything now to make peace and although its not fair how you are feeling and treated, there isnt time to hold a grudge. I wish you the best and pray for your mothers health also.

I don't have any experience with rhinoplasty but for Dr. Imran Tahir I highly reccomend him. I had breast augmentation with him last October and out of the 3 doctors I had consultations with he spent about 40 minutes going through medical books showing me exactly what the process would be etc. On the actual day of surgery I saw him for about 60 seconds before I went under the anathesia and woke up and couldn't be happier with his work and results. Best of luck with your decision and hopefully someone else can offer more advise.

Another EA here..in my experience in Dubai unless you are nearly dying (in hospital) I find bosses here don't take to it too kindly if their assistant gets sick! Everyone else can be sick but us:( I would try not to take his attitude too personally, continue doing your work and don't let him see he has got to you.

If I had to choose now I would say Medcare BUT only because it's more convenient for me, newer and I went to it more recently (Oct 2010) where as Welcare is further away from me, older and I last went there in June 2008. Welcare I was admitted for emergency surgery after getting a broken jaw, I was quite out of it so didn't pay much attention to anything, though I could not complain about my treatment, doctor or nurses. All of their support was outstanding and they allowed my partner to sleep in the room on a side bed so I thought they made alot of effort to make me comfortable. Sorry prob doesn't help all that much as each person's requirements differ but i was very pleased with both.

I've had surgery at both Welcare and Medcare and was very happy with both. Welcare is an older hospital but didn't effect the treatment provided. Stayed overnight at both and found all staff to be very attentive and helpful. Both of mine were with plastic surgeons, one elective and one due to an accident.
