I would also be interested to know if someone has a site. Luxury Closet does sell clothing though as I sold a Chanel jacket on there recently. They have selective brands but majority of designer brands are on there. I tried Dubizzle for clothing and had no luck also.

I have lived in U-Bora since 2011 - first renting a 2 bedroom and now owning and living in a one bedroom. Like most buildings, there has been some issues over the years but generally not huge. The two bedrooms are absolutely amazing layout and design, i miss being in one! The location is very accessible for everywhere and the canal is accessible by walking across the street. There is a yoga park across the street also by the canal that has free yoga in the park every evening 7pm. The apt's have a great layout even in the one bedrooms, high tech with keyless entry which is very handy when having guests stay etc as you don't need to worry about leaving them with keys. Overall, even if i could move i would choose to stay in U-bora. I don't know West Burry so can't comment but hope the above is helpful:)

I am also facing hair thinning and hair fall. how the PRP will help me?? is it helpful in hair fall reduction or hair regrowth? P2P is to trigger hair growth from what i understand but will not help if you are suffering hair fall - you need to stop the hair fall first. The approx costs I was quoted for PRP starts around AED10,000... I would recommend trying Ayurveda first, I had never heard of it till my hair fall started again and now so thankful my hairball is under control. I am now focused staying stress free, eating a well balanced diet and taking the vitamins that I was deficient in (Iron and Vitamin D and zinc mostly).

My friend had extreme hair fall issue as well. She told me that she underwent PRP Hair Therapy from Dubai Cosmetic Surgery Clinic and her hair fall has stopped completely. Her hair has become so much thicker since then. She said that the staff was amazing and prices were reasonable as well. I have myself seen a massive change in her appearance since the therapy. So if you wish to know more about the treatment or procedure contact world renowned Dubai cosmetic surgery :) I am looking for genuine responses thank you. You seem to be advertising for clinics which is not helpful at all! did you manage to get help? let me know... i know of a friend who did it from Mediclinic Al Bahr, in Jumeirah.. and she says it helps... but she has good immunity and all that.. i suffer from vitamin deficiency and docs have said that unless that is on track nothing will help.. but i am looking at immediate help or less i will go bald... let me know what worked for you please. Hi Sabu, I hope this can be helpful as I know how stressful it can be when we go through hair loss - it has happened twice to me in the last 3 years:-( My hair loss was triggered by severe emotional stress. I also suffered weight loss and obviously felt depressed at the same time. I first got blood tests to check my basic levels, the main ones I was advised to check by a Hair Dr (trichologist) were Vitamin D, Iron, Zinc and Vitamin B. For me, my Vit D, Zinc and Iron levels were all low. I stopped taking multi vits and started taking sronger doses of these (as per Trichologist advice) and also I had to decrease/stop the emotional stress in my life - which I worked on myself and sorted out the situations causing the stress. Additionally I met with a Dr. from Ayurveda Centre in Dubai (I went to Dr. Shyam Ayurveda in Jumeirah). I booked 7 treatments here and also taking a mixture of Herbal drinks and Ghee. To be honest I don't know if it is everything combined (I was desperate so went to both Dr. at the same time) but my hair loss has virtually stopped and I feel I am on the road to recovery. I decided against PRP for 2 reasons - it was out of my budget sadly and I also wanted to stop the hair loss first before I looked at way to speed up the growth process. If I had to go through this all over again (which i hope not to), my suggestions would be to get blood work with GP first and fix vitamins if required and secondly for any treatment, try Ayurveda. This type of treatments came recommended to be my many people and after searching online I decided I had nothing to lose. Its far more cost effective than regular Western methods also. I hope this is helpful. If you want any further info I am happy to exchange on emails or call.

Has anyone ever had PRP Hair Therapy in Dubai and if so what were the results please? I have experienced thinning/severe hair fallout recently and have been recommended 6 sessions. I am curious to hear from people who have undergone this treatment (even if outside of Dubai) and the results. Thank you in advance :-)

I have a 1 bedroom in Business Bay and all our apartments have separate chiller charges now. My apt is 989 sq ft and breakdown is generally the same every month; Cooling Consumption ranges from AED100 winter to AED300 in summer/month Fixed charge for "declared load" which is AED263/month Fixed charge for service/admin fee AED50/month I try to always turn my a/c off when i am at work and in winters only use the bedroom unit in the evenings. Summer i run a/c almost all day long. Hope this helps.

I would suggest being closer to Downtown (although its going to be very hot to walk anywhere) as you have greater access to metro and taxi's, Dubai Mall area etc. I would suggest the Taj Hotel Business Bay over Oberoi, location wise its closer to the Boulevard/Burj Khalifa. Keep in mind it will be Ramadan during that time and while many places are still open during the day, need to keep in mind when planning your activities.

Hello guys, I'm new on here :) I realize this may have been asked a few times already but I've got some acne scars and dead looking skin. I'm looking for mild laser treatments like Fraxel or something similar to lessen the scars and rejuvenate my skin with very minimal down time (due to work). Anyone have any experiences they could share with some good (reasonably priced) doctors? I went to CosmeSurge in Sharjah and everything was fine right until I met the doctor! The whole thing was quite disappointing and she also recommended a zillion chemical peels over a course of a year if not more. My case is quite mild really.. Look forward to hear from you guys. Thanks :) Hi MissEzzie, After suffering with acne most of my life and having a very bad breakout 18 months ago, I started Microdermabrasion on a regular basis. I did the first treatments in Australia and then continued them in Dubai every 2 weeks while my skin was quite bad and now go every 4 weeks. I go to Essa Beauty in JLT (Natalie does mine - though all the therapists are fab) I tried a couple sessions of fraxel at another salon years ago and didn't see results and also tried chemical peels at a dermatologist clinic and felt it did not improve my skin texture or tone at all. I know everyone's skin is different but for me, a combination of Microdermabrasion and maintaining a very good skin care routine has kept my acne at bay and improved my scarring and complexion dramatically. My skin is the clearest it has been my whole life (I'm 33). I recently had a session of Dermapen in Australia and love the results, am now looking to find a clinic in Dubai who have the trademark Dermapen treatment (there are many substitutes but I want to stick with the original one).

I tried Rockfish at Al Naseem on Thursday evening - the view is spectacular, we had a table on the very far right hand side overlooking the Burj Al Arab (it was inside the restaurant but the doors are fully open so its like sitting outdoors). Highly recommend.

For steak and a fairly quiet place i would recommend Exchange Grill in Fairmont SZR. I haven't been in a long time but it is still by far my fav steak restaurant. It's a little quiet in atmosphere but makes the perfect location for a couples dinner. If you mention its a special evening they will put rose petals on the table, they really went out of their way to be the perfect host and food is just A+++! Only downside is no great views, its indoors! For a wow place, can't go wrong with Pier Chic, superb food, atmosphere and views.

Thanks so much Goldilocks, will contact them. Good luck to you! Have you ever had anything made by them? Happy to report i went to The Bridal Shop in Jumeirah Plaza this evening and couldn't be more impressed. The owner Anne is so pleasant, i wouldn't hesitate to go back. It turns out my dress fitted perfectly (bought in Australia though it was made overseas) and didn't need any alterations..Anne didn't charge me for the fitting despite giving their valuable time to help me in and out of my dress (corset style). If i ever make it to Bride and not just Bridesmaid i shall definitely be going there for my dress:biggrin:

I haven't been to this clinic but if you are looking for a facial i would recommend Essa Beauty in JLT. I found the reviews on this site and have been going there now since July 2015. I have a microdermabraision every 2 weeks as i was suffering from very bad acne. The products i am using unfortunately are not available here (Skinstitute from Australia) however when i have the facial at Essa they use Elemis on my skin and it works fine. Just fyi, Essa also use Dermalogica - i had a bad reaction which made my acne worse as i have sensitive skin so i would recommend you ask for Elemis products to be used for your first time at least.

I have been suffering on and off with acne most of my life however at 31 I have had terrible acne around my chin also. So far the only way I am able to keep it semi under control is: cut out all dairy (I do cheat once or twice a week by adding a little milk in my coffee but even this I need to stop), facial including microdermabrasion every 2 weeks to remove blackheads and I only use the skin care range by Skinstitute - unfortunately this is only available in Australia so I had to stock up when home. I have been using this product this June 2015 and instead of blotting the excess oil from my face 10 times/day I maybe only need to blot once a day now, have seen a big improvement. Good luck with combating this, I know how depressing it can be. I barely like to have my picture taken anymore because of my skin issues, hopefully this will be overcome eventually.

I am a single working adult and one of the very few with my company without children - I personally have never felt i am missing out because I don’t get family tickets/school allowance etc. Almost all of my colleagues in the same position have a family and receive schooling etc., I am grateful I don’t have all those extra bills for the time being! I don't think anyone has made nasty/hateful comments, its rather common sense.

I've had my lashes done a few times now and can say that I absolutely love having them on HOWEVER I do not recommend doing this regularly - you do lose a few of your natural lashes along the way. I did mine for the first time at Christmas while in Australia and they lasted 1 month - I NEVER touch them or pull at them and don’t wear mascara with them. I am very careful when I shower (never put my face under full pressure to avoid ruining them) and don’t sleep on my side of face - if you want them to last longer than you do have to be careful. I wanted to have them again before I traveled this summer so ended up getting them done at NStyle in DIFC and have to say after 2.5 weeks they are still looking fab - a few have fallen out but nothing major. I will not get them again till maybe next summer but I do feel naked once they come off and I have naturally long lashes! I was recently recommended another place to try in JLT (Oando Beauty in Cluster T) which is much cheaper than Style - the recommendation was given by a very reputable beauty therapist who has tried them herself..I plan to try them next. Hope this is helpful:)

I used Dr. Imran Tahir (British Lasik and Cosmetic Surgery 043442020) in 2010 and highly recommend. Many friends of friends have gone on to use him and very pleased with the results. My procedure was AED26,000, not sure on the current prices. That included 1 night stay in Medcare Hospital as my surgery was done at 5pm on a Thursday evening. I was back in the office on Monday and didn't take any pain killers after i left the hospital on Friday. I initially found the recommendations for this Dr. from EW. Good luck with your decision:)

I visited LA for the first time last summer and stayed in the main tourist spots; Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Highly recommend doing a private half day tour where you are picked up by the driver in an escalade (or similar) and driven around Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills hot spots. You can tailor the tour to suit your own likes. We used a company a local friend recommended Jimmy 3107203809 (US mobile). I think the cost was about USD150/person which included drinks and snacks stocked up in the car. If you are sporty then take an afternoon out and hit Ranyon Canyon, great exercise and views of the Hollywood sign too (though our tour drive took us right in front of the sign for pictures). Santa Monica and Venice Beach are great fun - hire bikes and ride along the beach front paths. I did most of my shopping (which was ALOT) at the outlet mall ( can't recall the name but its huge and about a 25 min drive out of Beverly Hills). Very easy to find. Macys was also my other fav shopping spot, soooo many summer sales!

U-Bora Residential Tower...like any building it has its flaws but overall the apartment layouts are fantastic (have not seen a nicer 2 bedroom layout in Business Bay). Pool is nice enough, gym needs work but its useable (improvements are being made). Maintenance guys are generally easy to get also which is helpful. ...and no i dont work for them, i was a tenant and now landlord. edited to add, i have a 1 bedroom and very happy with my unit. edited by Goldilocks on 28/04/2015

I am fair skinned and have spray tanned for many years...however it isn't a regular weekly treat as it fades quickly and can look patchy, not ideal when going to the gym everyday either for me. The only cream gradual tanner i have found to be even in tone is the Dove brand. I cannot find Dove here (the gradual tanner cream) so i order online or bring back from Australia when i visit.

I dont exactly know how it started to work, a combination of many of the above tips. I put credit on my account using a gift card from Australia, i downloaded a new 8P8 via surfeasy and i changed my store on the actual Apple TV to USA even though my itunes is in Australia. I dont want to question how but it worked:) thanks again and good luck to anyone else having this issue, be patient and eventually it will work.

purchase on itunes on your computer. Then turn on your apple tv- make sure it is using the same wifi as your laptop. on iTunes on your computer, click on file- home sharing-turn on home sharing. then on your apple tv from the menu click look for your computer - it should show up- click on it and then you will see your entire iTunes menu from your laptop. Then play. I think you may need to make sure home sharing is "on' on the apple tv too- I can't remember if that is needed but check in the menu for that option on the apple tv menu. Note laptop must stay on and open or the feed will die. My kids kill me because we will be in the middle of a movie and I forget and close my laptop and have to start again. Note the movie plays on the tv, not on the laptop. Do not click on the movie on your laptop or it will play on your laptop- you just need to access your laptop iTunes menu on the apple tv and click play from there.(as above). good luck! ps we have MacBooks so it is seamless - not sure about PC's. i will try this tonight though my Apple TV device has been asking to "verify payment info" so i cant find a way to get rid of this problem:(

I have an Australian account and I cant change the credit card to my UAE one, which I would prefer. You can download and stream through your apple tv though you need to convert it to apple though. Have you tried making the purchase through the computer rather than the through the iPad/apple tv, I know I have purchased through the itunes store (on my computer) and then come to use the tv and the purchase was there. edited by littleone on 11/02/2015 Thank you :) I have not tried that yet, will try tonight from the computer directly and see if that works and i can then watch on the TV.
