Thank you Mannikat...do you use this for Apple TV? I have heard people using the iTunes account with no issues but when it comes to the Apple TV I cannot find anyone here to help with it. My friend is using a US iTunes however they have a US credit card so dont face this issue.

I've been taking Biotin for at least the last year and can notice the difference in my nails. They were very brittle and constantly peeling before. Not sure if its made much difference in my hair as my hair is always dry but i will deff continue to take this as the difference in my nails was huge.

You can still order today from Clinton St Baking Co in Downtoan - AED195 for a full pie (about 8/9 slices). We used to order from Baker & Spice who also do small and large though might be too late to place an order there best to call and check. Both are fabulous:)

Another vote for Michaelle Soudi. I did my eyeliner (top and bottom) and eyebrows in 2010 and recently just did both again. People dont even know its tattoo since it looks very natural and i always wear eyeliner anyway. I have fair colour hair so still need to tint my eyebrows as i didnt want to remove the hair i had. Is great to always have my eyebrows in shape though and easy to maintain waxing/threading.

many thanks Fairydust. Is it Dr. Murtaza Bandukwala? I called GMC who said to call Ultra Care. I am a little confused though it seems this particular Dr. works at different clinics. I have had moles removed in past and my father passed away from skin cancer so really want to see the best available here. My last check in Australia the Dr. was very flippant about it. Hi Goldilocks, Sorry, been busy. Dr Murtaza works at a couple of different clinics including the GMC. But at Dermacare, which is the specialist clinic I was referred to, who also do the mole mapping, it's Dr IkramullahAl Nasir - and he only work there. I was able to make an app with Dr. Murtaza for this weekend but am wondering why he referred you onto Dr. Nasir, does Dr. Nasir only do the removal? My insurance does not cover this and there is quite a large difference in cost for appointments so just wondering if I should check first with Dr. Murtaza or just save myself the time and go first to Dr. Nazir..

FairyDust - thanks for sharing this as I need to get another skin check-up and this has pushed me to do so. I have been trying to call Dermacare on the number 043420088 but it does not connect. Would they happen to have any other number? Also pls let me know which Dr. you saw there if you don't mind. many thanks

I was at Debanhams Mirdif City Centre on the weekend and they had a huge load of swimwear, very nice designs too, was quite surprised. They have a sale, buy 2 get the 3rd free so not bad at all. This is the best range I have seen at Debanhams.

I took out my first mortgage in October 2013 with ADCB. They were the only bank offering a fixed rate for the first 5 years, starting at 3.99% for the first year. I was also looking at HSBC as my next choice. Best of luck.

Another very happy customer of Abra here:) have been having tans with Abra for over a year and never gone wrong. The new 90 min tan is fab, my skin doesn't dry out so much since I don't sleep in it anymore. I have very fair skin so don't like to be too dark but this colour is perfect and can last 5 days really nice and longer if i moisturize regulary.

Ladies, For those of you familiar with Munich Airport, can you pls advise a suitable meeting point for 2 travellers - 1 arriving from EK and 1 Alitalia - travel agent advises that both flights arrive in Terminal 1 so would assume the baggage claim area would be the same (different belts)? Many thanks

I took out an investment/retirement plan for myself 3 or 4 years ago through a consultant at PIC. Have not had any issues mind you my plan is quite simple as I really just wanted to make some savings and my profile is very low risk. I monitor regulary to ensure the funds are stable and not losing my money - so far no issues. I am comfortable with them as may of the senior bankers at our institution also deal with them and they have far bigger investments than me so it gave me some peace of mind. They are affiliated with Generali International which are who provide my account statements etc. Hope this is of help.

K2 Equestrian club in Nad Al Sheba (just opposite to Meydan) They also have their own endurance team and compete, offer livery and lessons as well as dessert hacking. I found them to be the most professional I have dealt with here. The office admin guy to contact to book and see the place is Joey 055 387 7941 http://k2equestrian.com/iflash.html Desert Palm Equestrian Club I have many friends who ride here – great facility and very professional. Ph. 050 451 7773 or Ph. 04 323 8010 http://desertpalm.peraquum.com/Diversions/The-Riding-School/default.aspx Al Sahra Equestrian Ph. 056 177 2856 Have only ridden there once but professional and nice facility (though also the most expensive I have found here).

Thanks for all the feedback ladies, very helpful. The renewal is not until 10th May so they have time on their side still. My main concern is if I push them to only increase 5% they will slap us with the chiller fees... I spoke to RERA but they said I have to go in person to speak to Mr. Yahya as he is the only one who can confirm about the rental increases as the site is only up to date for contracts renewable till April 2013.

Ladies, Need some advice from anyone in similar situation. We live in an apartment in Business Bay. This will be our 3rd year renewal and til now have not had an increase in rent (moved in in March 2010). We don't pay maintenance or chiller fess as per our contract so the building management have decided to give all a 10% increase instead of 5% due to these reasons. Is this permitted, anything I could do about it do you think? Not sure I should argue with it as the chiller fees would prob end up costing more but worth doing my homework also. The apartments are all owned by the builder so we don't deal with individual landlords. Many thanks in advance. :)

I have never been to PC so can't comment though the food and service at Beach Bar & Grill was fabulous. A table outside would be quite romantic in the evening. I recently went to 101 for dinner and Zest and sadly would not repeat either for dinner:( 101 is fab for drinks and very romantic outside. If the weather is windy like last weekend though you would have to be inside, also very nice. Not very much atmosphere though as quite quiet. Zest - I was really disappointed with the service and food quality, not what I expected for this level property. Wouldn't be going back to eat there unfortunately. Good luck with your choice:)

I went few weeks back and LOVED it. Was nice to sit outside in the nice weather. The food is cooked fresh and the waiters serve it to your table when cooked. You are given a lovely basket to start with and go up and choose all your meat (inc lobster was delish). One of my new fav brunch places. We chose to sit at a table with umbrella rather than on the picnic rug. Lovely day out and worth trying.

I just picked up 2 from Baker & Spice in Al Manzil. Bought the same last year are they are delicious. I was annoyed on the way they handled it this year for the sizes (advised only one size (small) available when I ordered and then today I find out they changed mid-week and made medium and large) but other than this the pie itself is well worth every dirham!

I used to go to Salon Ink years ago and never had a bad experience there. My only dislike was it was often difficult to get an appointment (a good thing showing they are busy) and its quite $$$. My hair dresser since left and I followed her. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair. I went from platinum blonde to dark brunette so the maintenance is challenging. I use Debbie at Pastels (Mercato branch). Have never had a bad colour or hair cut. HTH. Nicky

I used to own a horse here but have since sold her. The livery at Emirates Equestrian Centre (Bab Al Shams) is AED2400 per month which includes a groom and all feed. I have recently just leased a horse though direct with the owner. There are many Equestrian Centres in Dubai that offer leasing. I don't have too much experience with them all but have been riding at Emirates Equstrian (nicest facilities in Dubai), Desert Palm, Mushrif Park and most recently Desert Equestrian Club in Khawaneej which is where I will be riding from now on. Best to check out a few of the places and see what place suits you. I know Desert Equestrian have leases available and from what I have seen the horses are all very nice and the riding out area's are fantastic. (I think leases there are AED2000 per month roughly). HTH. :)

Ladies, I am helping someone with selling a full apartment (4 bed penthouse) furniture. Ideally this should be sold as a complete package and not individually. The item's are majority Italian design etc. Any idea if there are any companies in Duabi who would be interested in purchasing such items and reselling themselves? Any help/directions greatly appreciated. On another note, how does one work out the depreciation of furniture? :-S Thank you in advacne:)

If the elevators are not working then there is also no way of reaching our apartment on the 11th floor. Our building is only 15 levels high but if you take the stairs then there is no way to get out at our level which doesnt make sense. I have never seen this before so not sure if its the norm here in Dubai buildings, anyone else know??
