We were told 95% a girl at the 12 week scan and at around 16 weeks it was 100%. Apparantly (and I cannot remember where I heard or read this or even if its true) its not just whether they can see the private parts, but also certain measurements taken at that time. i also had a scan at 12 weeks...and the good doctor said "its a boy"...while turning the monitor for me to see his little , up in the air p***s:) and sure enough it was a boy...

Basically the reason being is once the products are opened and exposed to the air, bacteria can start to set in causing infections. I think eye makeup is more likely to be worse then foundations and lipsticks but in my opinion i don't share my make up with anyone so i don't take any notice. The only time i threw my pencils and mascara out was when i had conjunctavitas as i kept re-infecting according to the gp. every time you dip your finger in any of the jars and tubes you pass bacteria from your hands to the contents inside.

i do regularly, every 6 months(but i tend to be a*** retentive every 6 months anyways and clear up all the house of unused stuff)..I really had bad habits keeping things around for long periods of time when I was younger, and did end up with the few eye infections and skin conditions... but even more since moving to Dubai...i found most of my makeup in the first year over here went "bad" very quickly...i believe due to the heath. mascara gets thrown out exactly to the date... most European cosmetics(better say things sold in EU)...not sure of others, for last couple years (i think it was a law passed by EU commission) has to have a indication when to throw out from opening the product... edited by Goose on 09/01/2011

It's actually Epiphany today... when the 3 Kings visited Jesus in Bethlehem.... and the 12th (and last) day of Christmas - remember the Partridge in a Pear Tree? 12 days of Christmas. Also, you should take your decorations down no later than today, or it'll be a year of bad luck. Be warned! nahhh...i wait till the 11 th...:)

iubamea..i understand what you are referring too...but when I wrote Eastern..it has nothing to do with east. Europe...nor was I thinking of them...Eastern Or. Ch. is commonly used to refer to Russian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Ukranian, Romanian orthodox churches etc...whose traditions differ from Christians who follow Gregorian calendar....and no, Russians are not the only who follow Julian calendar. Hristos se rodi!:) edited the Greek..out. edited by Goose on 06/01/2011

Eastern Orthodox Christians celebrate roughly 2 weeks after western Christians...Today is the Christmas for them. It has to do with the calendar they are using.Julian calendar.

I do not believe in conspiracy theories, everything has prefect logical explanation on the end of the day. And since eyeless fish, black birds and that sort of things sell papers and rise website visits...even less impressed. edit..There were strange fish before, as falling birds from the sky(usually due to the disease)...
