I think Glow Bar at Town Center near the big Spinneys in Meadows/Springs will do eyebrow waxing if you ask them to. It's also close to your place if you take the back Gate.

There are two nurseries within the Lakes, one is very close to The Lake's Club and the other one is just before the gate. I forgot the names though.

Yes indeed simpleasabc, I live in The Lakes and I absolutely love it. It is a nice compound. Green community is also nice BUT I think it's not a compound + the traffic there is a nightmare especially at peak hours

I'll second The Lakes, very nice community and close to all amenities. It's also very convenient to access SZR. Check on Dubizzle you might find some villas available there. Good luck

Hi ladies, can somebody please help me with directions to G&D Park. I got recommendations to check it after I posted here asking where I can sell my gold. I know the Al Barsha area but not sure which exit I shall take. Do I have to take the Garden center exit or go to Al Quoz area where the RTA is. I`m planning to go today so please help me out with the exact directions. TIA

Glow Bar in town centre in Meadows and Springs where the big Spinneys is, would do both. I usually go there for my eyebrows and ask for threading but the lady told me she offers both services depending on the client's wishes.

My kids go to the French school and YES they have 10 days off starting this Wednesday. They had school this past Saturday though. The vacation has nothing to do with the prophet's birthday. They usually have these 10 days off same as the French schools in France due to the very heavy curriculum they follow <em>edited by happy mum on 14/02/2011</em>

arohadxb, are you sure UAE froze his assets? where did you get the info from? I know and it has been said that the Swiss gvnt took the initiative to do so, the same as they did with Bin Ali in Tunisia but as far as UAE is concerned I doubt such info...they actually didn't do it for the Tunisian dictatior and there are many associations and organizations that are still trying to negotiate with UAE to urge them take such an action

I would rather go with RSA, last year I was with axa, they are good but I haven't had any complaints thank goodness. This year before renewal I called many companies they were by far cheaper than AXA. I ended up with RSA as they gave me almost 800 dirhams less than AXA and their customer service was really good, I would say better than AXA who were late in returning my calls, hay didn't even bother to match up the offer given by RSA and didn't believe the quote I was given. Plus, deductibles were way less than AXA. Everything was done over the phone, even my car registration and I had everything sent over by courier. So far so goo.
