Weighted voting may become a concept of the future, "Weighted Voting"... do you mean that one person's vote will count for more than another person's?? Very animal farm. "We're all equal, but some are more equal than others". I voted to leave. I'm neither racist, nor old, nor stupid. It wasn't a mistake and I would vote the same way tomorrow. I don't believe for a second that this route will be easy - but it will be worth it. I am simply astonished at the call for another referendum simply because the losing side doesn't like the results. I am also disgusted by suggestions that the votes of "old people" are somehow worth less than "young people". Very democratic.

Appletiser and Buddha, Many thanks for your replies - you both make perfect sense. I will stick with EC and perhaps swap her to JC if a place comes up

It beggars belief. What were the chance's of the Captain leaving his seat on a short 2 hour flight though? Quite high if you have a very short, very busy turnaround.

I had seen on Ryanair that if one pilot is out of the cockpit ( To visit the loo etc) then a cabin crew member take their place until the other pilot returns This is correct. DH used to work for them. Never liked flying with them but this is crazy!!! It's a good thing to always have two people in cockpit - ensures second pilot can always get back in without the first pilot having to get out of their seat to let them back in. Plus ensures the pilot flying is awake/generally ok. edited by HellsBells on 26/03/2015

Ok so this is no doubt a stupid question, but what would happen if I brought a few packs of the knorr stock pots in with me when I come over in April? Would I need to declare them as food stuff at customs and if so would they be confiscated? They are sooo much better than the stock cubes!

We would definitely recommend Wilderness Lodge - stayed there in 2011 and it was just lovely. Very relaxed but still "deluxe". It's a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom and has the usual buses. The thing we really loved about it was that, considering it's in the heart of DW, it's actually really peaceful.

Many thanks to plum2 and lovingthesun for your replies. We have now applied and received assessment tests for DESC and JC and sent off the EC application. DC have said that they'll let us know in March if they want our son to sit the assessment. I guess we'll see how this batch of applications goes before looking elsewhere.
