I think you can buy any antibiotic OTC here, I have never had any trouble buying my antibiotics Try this link: http://www.dubaifaqs.com/drugs-dubai.php Banned Medicines and prescription drugs including codeine When travelling to Dubai, the best thing you can do from the perspective of medicines, is to not bring any at all (toothpaste and soap should be ok). If you do need to bring medicine with you, and it is not on the banned list, then bring the prescription, and have it attested/notarised (try the UAE embassy nearest to where you live) before you travel. There have been cases of people stuck in jail waiting for a copy of a prescription to be sent over, and even then it's not guaranteed to be a "get out of jail free" card. Apart from the list of narcotics (cocaine, heroin, marijuana, etc) that are illegal in most countries, there is a list of of about 400 banned medicines in the UAE. Check with Ministry of Health or the UAE Consulate / Embassy for the most up to date information but failing that (after all, how many people actually do contact the relevant government ministries before going on holiday?) keep in mind the following are banned substances (exceptions possible when administered in UAE hospitals) and will probably land in you jail for 4 years if you're caught with them in your possession, whether or not you have a prescription: any opium based substance - for example codeine (which is available over the counter in many countries) poppy seeds qat (or gat / ghat / kat / khat, proper name Catha Edulis) - a plant usually chewed, is a prohibited drug in the UAE. This following list comes from Fair Trials International, who say they got it from the March 2007 dated General Authority for Health Services Guide to the Management of Controlled Drugs in the Private Sector. Alfentanil Amphetamine Buprenorphone Codeine Fentanyl Ketamine Methadone Methyphenidate Morphine Pentazocine Pethidine Remifentanil Sufentanil Don't assume this list is comprehensive. If you've got any medicine at all, don't bring it unless you can verify it is on a permitted list, and bring a presciption anyway. Even something as innocuous sounding as Panadol can get you into trouble (there are some over-the-counter versions that contain codeine for example).

They sometimes sell creme brulee in the supermarkets like Hyperpanda but its called Leche Flan (filipino version of creme brulee). Pretty tasty. Yes but i want the hot layer of sugar, that has been caramelizing it with the flame Yummy :( You won't achieve this unless you make it yourself - you can't buy these desserts "off the shelf" as also they will need to come in a ramekin or pot. Why not look up the recipe online and make it - it's just a cooked custard with sugar caramelised on top. I think Ina Garten does a simple one. I was actually hoping for a restaurant recommendation and I dont know how to make anything. Seriously I am useless in the kitchen

What would you do if you have a neighbor from ****? She moved in recently and on her first day here, when my housemaid spoke to her she said "I don't speak to maids", and that was just the begining. We own our home so we won't be moving anytime soon, and being friendly didn't work, even though her husband always looks embarassed as she talks to us (i.e. as if we are serfs and she is royalty).Very uncomfortable...:( Seriously does not sound like the neighbour from **** to me. I would find it very easy to just ignore a person like this. You should have had the neighbour I had - his door faced mine and we were the only 2 on a secluded corridor. I nicknamed him tighty - whiteys due to his prediliction for hanging around in the doorway, answering it to delivery guys etc wearing only the aforementioned item of clothing. Thats when he was not beating up his girlfriend/ wife or having rampant loud s e x .. once when I answered the door for a delivery that was all you could hear coming through the door - I don't know who was more embarrased - me or the delivery guy. I dropped all the money in my confusion and just prolonged the whole embarrasing episode... When I called the security guy re the beating up he said she was just upset because she was fasting! On top of all that there was frequent loud music etc. He really was the neighbour from ****. The apartment has been empty for a year now and I have the whole corridor to myself.. I dread someone else moving in... So yeah I could easily ignore someone just being a bit up themselves... edited by Genie on 15/10/2012 Oh my god! Genie , I feel so bad for you . I thought I had horrible neighbours , your story makes them look like angels edited by honeylover on 16/10/2012 Yes he was a loathsome, loathsome man. As well as this he used to leave a trail of rubbish from the lift, down "our" corridor - cigarette and cigar ash, used tissues, fast food wrappers etc. Thank god he is long gone now and I just have peace and quiet. If anyone ever moves in across the way I am sure they cannot be as bad as he was - who knows - we may even be friends :) Poor baby, you are so very patient I wouldnt have been able to make it through

IT IS THE POOL! Your hair is made up of a delicate, stretchy strand called the cortex. The cortex is wrapped in a sturdy sheath called the cuticle made up of keratin, which is designed to protect and keep it from breaking. The entire hair strand is coated in sebum, a natural oil produced by your scalp. Sebum smooths the cuticle, keeping it shiny and strong. Chlorine is a harsh chemical that strips away the sebum, leaving your cuticle dry and cracked, with split ends. Always wear a cap when swimming and a nice way to help restore your hair is keratin treatment

I did my first microdermabrasion last Monday at Spaces in Oasis Centre. This month they have a 50% deal (Mondays only). So it came out to 225aed. My face felt very soft. I have another appt at the end of the month. Not sure about peels. I agree with Lady_SilverX, have you tried having some exfoliating facials, what do you use to exfoliate your skin with ? Do you use hydrating masks or essential oils?

If she is sick, really sick then she stays in her room, ok If she is always sick then fire her. No labor law for Maids.. BBB Wow , no labour laws for maids? No, domestic workers are not covered by the labour law. The govt is drafting up a law that will include all domestic and private workers, but don't know how long that will take. I believe there is something called as a contract which your maid signs when you sponsor them, all their rights are mentioned in it.
