[b'>Hemp seeds are on the gov banned list. is the oil made from seeds? If so then yes it is banned [/b'> Good to know.I find it super weird that locally popular naturopathic practitioner is prescribing this supplement to her patients ... It sure is strange  It's not that strange. Hemps seeds and hemp oil are not the same. Al seeds do have THC, which is drug and it's prohibitet. But there are oils, that don't have THC, so it's not the drug. But be carefull because some do contain THC. Do research on google. I know person who order via Iherb and everything was ok. On the other hand also all poppy seeds contains some level of opium, thats why they are band. Some of them more, some less.

Hi! I delivered my second child in al zahra with dr Yamini. I had very good experience with hospital and a doctor. One of my best experience in post delivery care. Nurses were the best and they were there for me and baby any time. I didn't take antenatal class, but we did a tour before delivery. We got all information that we needed in this tour. I didn't have any birth plan, not for my first and not for my second child. My only wish was to deliver fast as posible and with less pain as posible:-))). Both times I had very good expirience

Just be careful. There is no really sugar free cake. If it is, then it has artificial sweeteners, which are even worst for babies than regular sugar. Also those cakes usually has more fat, more artificial flavours.... they need to add something for flavuor. Or they are just tasteless. They celebrate birthday in there will be no harm to eat just once regular- normal cake. Try to make a cake at home, with less sugar, with healthy ingridients, with fruits. Homemade is way more healthy than any other sugar free cake.

We are family of 4 and a dog and we spend around 5000. Mostly I'm shopping in spinneys and geant, ones a month in organic shop. I'm buying mostly organic, no hormones, local (vegetables) australian, NL, European food. We are very picky about buying food. But on the other hand I'm cooking every day from scratch and we rarely eat outside- here we spend a lot. 6000 or even 9000 WOW realy don't know what are you buying?

I am due to get an enema again today what should i do. Should i go back or cancel? I have been feeling better since that last enema. Awaiting your reply 1 or 2 enemas is not bad, it's not bad oce or twice per year. Feeling great after, is something normal.... but I totaly agree with Tessa. Try with food with fibers, ground flax seeds, dried prunes, dates.... and a lot, a lot of water and exercise.

Dear all So the big move is happening and I leave tomorrow from the uk to start a new life in dubai! I have some random questions - are all fruits and veg safe to eat especially for kids with sensitive tummies . Someone mentioned avoiding cucumber and lettuce - could anyone who has also emigrated shed any light as my kiddies love their cucumber / fresh carrot sticks / lettuce etc - regarding cooking with water - is r safe to use tap water when cooking I.e boiling pasta, rice etc? And Also washing fruit and veg- should I be keeping boiled water for this ?? Any help much appreciated from a rather nervous and anxious newbie to dubai!! Thanks all Food and water are safe. Some people (around 40%) even drink tap water, so no worries. The problem is that Dubai water has no minerals, it's "empty" water. The biggest problem might be your (house) water tank. Before you move in check the water tank and clean it. If you are still nervous then buy and put water filters. Vegetables and fruits are safe. You can find food from all over the world (usa, europe, aus....) there is also a lot of organic food (local and from around the world). Enjoy your big move and don't worry about food and water.

Thanks for clarifying the Dewa, they are looking for a 3 bedroom, maybe a 4 bedroom if the budget allows it. I thought most have community pools, but hey can imagine they get crowded if shared with the nearest Springs pool. No crowded at all, because most of the villas in meadows do have their own pool.

Thanks Silverstet for your reply. Thinking of the heat, stone floor totally makes sense! Great input. Also don't forget about the sand. It's desert here and the sand is evrerywhere all the time. I saw some houses with wooden floor (you can find them also in meadows and lakes) and after only 2 years it was disaster. Scratches (because of sand) every where and holes between boards (big T difference and dry air, and also cheap laminat). Not ideal for houses with children and animals.

We are living in meadows1. Easy to go out and in, no traffic. For us it is perfect location. There is no pool, but meadows 1 is connected to meadows 2, where is the big pool. We do have play ground for kids and a big lake for walking- also few fitnes device around the lake. Our Dewa is 2400 in summer and 1000 in winter. We have grass, trees, palms, flowers.... but no pool. We use our AC a lot. 3 bedroom house. Are you sure, that you didn't have any leakage?

I went with my 6 year old son and it was lovely and also funny experience. I waited him on the street, but some houses have hidden entry, so I couldn't see him. At first house I waited him for a minute or 2, I just started panicking where he is, then I finally heard thank you and bye. He came and told me, they had only chocolate candy, so he was trying to find any other candy in the big bowl. He couldn't find it, so left the house without candies;-). Most probably these people though he is spoiled or a strange kid. But he has intolerance on dairy products, so he didnt take chocolate (he surprised me, because even I didnt think about that). After that I told him to take it, whatever they offer you- just not to be so strange:-). I must say, that I was surprised, because most people even asked children to take more candies. My kid took 1 or 2 and they asked him to take more, then he took onother one and they grab a bunch of candies and put him into his bag. It was so lovely to see his smile when he was walking toward me. He was so excited and he was almost screaming how many candies they gave him. People laughed behind him:-).

It's NOT compulsory. If your kids had it before, you can just sign a form and show the vaccination record. It's a good initiative from the government to make sure every child got such an important vaccine. That what I was told, when I recived the letter. And there was not even ones mention 3 dose. A lot of kids in Dubai didn't recive the second dose, that's why they send this out. When I took the paper to the school nurse she told me that. My kid was vaccinated this year (second dose)- NO way to give him onother dose the same year.

I delivered in Al Zahra hospital, everything was coverd by insurance. Didn't take any packages. During the pregnancy I had a lot more check ups, a lot more scans, a lot more laboratory tests.... than what was offered in the package. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days, had normal delivery and everything was covered by insurance.

Hi! My son has the same problems for many years. After more than 3 years of complaining about stomach ache, after few doctors and some test that they made... no results. There was some good weeks after probiotics and nexium, but after a while ache came back. There was no parasits, no allergies, no celiac.... so I had enought and went to al zahra hospital to Dr Dardari and she took the problem really seriously. So she made all test again, and again everything was negative. But there was sign of inflammation. Then she ask me to do test for intolerance. They check for more than 100 kinds of food. And finally we got results. He is intolerant on kazein ( cow milk), hazelnuts, peas and goat milk. Now he is on a strict diet for 3 weeks. It is much better, but it takes time- it can take 1-3 months for best results. It's dificullt even for me, because I need to read every declaration on the food box, I need to cook and bake seperately... It would be easier if he would be lactose intolerante, because there is so many lacto free product, but there is no such thing for kasein free product. Be awere allergies and food intolerance is not the same. iF there is a stomach problems, there is more definitely intolerance than allergies. Allergies test is also cheaper, intolerance test cost us more than 4000 aed. But it was worth!

Kings (1st choice), they get the best ratings from KHDA inspectors (who initially based their evaluations on BC schools). Safa gets good reviews from parents and students, nice campus. Jumeira Primary School (Gems BC) gets favorable reviews and their campus is nice. Jumeira Baccalaureate School follows National Curriculum for England and IPC (BC adapted for expat Brits) in the primary years (Pre K to Grade 4) and they are very structured in their learning outcomes, etc. Parents have mixed reviews, but most students look happy. SABIS system may be an option at their Dubai branch. They got a new headmaster in Sept 2014 who is trying to make the school "less of a prison", though you may need to give your child additional tuition in English composition (factual and creative writing), which is weak in the SABIS curriculum. DESS parents seem happy with academics, particularly the Lebanese parents I meet at karate class. Thanks apricot :) I thought that the SABIS system was strong academically even in English. A friend mentioned that her son was able to read well in KG2, SABIS system Sorry, but that's depends on the child and not as much on school and the sistem. My son just started KG2 in new GEMS school (IB system) and his reading is very good. You can easily compare with reading in grade 1 or even grade 2. They started at the end of the KG1, but most of his classmates still don't read. Some of them still don't know all letters. So there is no pressure on kids, they just follow the child's development and desire.

We live in meadows 1, one of my friend live in meadows 2 and the other one in meadows 3. We are all very happy with quality of building (we did some renovations) and quality of life here. Never have any problems with traffic. For us it is perfect location. But we would not like to live in meadows 6,7,8,9 . And we would rather live here, than out in the desert in new house. edited by hope1more on 05/09/2014 edited by hope1more on 05/09/2014 edited by hope1more on 05/09/2014

Yes, we go there every year. We even own an appartmen on one of the island, so we spend hole summer there. What can I say. Lovely place, nice weather, very good food- fresh seafood, mediteranian food, wine, olive oil.... freash air (you can smell pine trees, adriatic sea), very peaceful (except avgust) and nice people.... I would recommend you to go on the island. any island in Kornati. Dubrovnik is actually very busy city, a lot of tourist and very very expensive (ok, maybe you like this). On the island you will have more peace, more space on the beach, more clean sea, more domestic comfort, more beautiful nature. Anyhow you won't make a mistake, if you like mediterranean.

I was walking my dog around 9 am (26.10) and I think I might saw this parrot- not sure. It was in meadows 1. Green parrots are something normal in this area, but this one was something special. Usually they are on trees and in group, this one was alone and she was sitting on the traffic sign, then on the road... and she was flying low- it was strange for me, that's why I remember. Maybe you should try looking in meadows 1,2,3
