You can not say "do not support breeders or petshops" as every healthy pet deserves a chance! Its all about pets and not organizations. After living 10 years in U.A.E I understand that it is really hard to find a perfect, healthy pet for your family. To be honest people are very cruel to animals here. I have been helping many organizations here and can tell you that if you have kids then do not bring any unhealthy animals home! What happened to me a year a go was my big mistake. I fostered a couple of dogs from a rescue organization. The dogs were taken from the municipality and were fully treated (vaccinated, dewormed, and microchiped). At the end I found out that they were very infected and had parasites inside. You can not imagine how much money we wasted on doctors for the whole family including my pets. You do something going to people and in return they this to you. What happened to the dogs? The organization sold them. So this is how the system works, they take pets that look like pedigree from the pound and sell them (as adoption fee) if the pet gets to be returned then they sell it again no matter if it is healthy or not. If you are looking for a dog then your best bet is K9 friends, they have healthy dogs and most of them have nice characters. There are some pedigree breeder but they are really hard to find so you should consider importing. Backyards breeder are the same as cats ones, they may have dogs that look like pedigrees but they are not registered as pure breed and most of them have healthy problems as they are kept in inappropriate environment. For the cats as I mentioned earlier your best bet is to visit vets, they always have healthy and beautiful cats available for adoption. Breeding animals is legal in U.A.E, only if the animals are kept in good condition. You can visit municipality and make sure yourself. And finally there are pure pedigree breeders in U.A.E. Same as cats and dogs. They are registered with WCF and CFA. If you visit them, you will see the difference. All of their pets are in really good condition and treated just the way we treat our own pets.

Thats right. You should have a physical accredited company. After graduating from ESL every student get a certificate that should be VALID.

There are some registered pedigree breeders in Dubai of Scottish fold/ Highland fold/ Siamese/ Sphinx but did not here about British yet. As Rozroz said you should probably contact vets but if you are looking for a pedigree than you probably need to look for one from overseas.

There are only two registered breeders in U.A.E as I heard so far. And they only have sphinx, scottish fold, and mekong bobtail. Its really hard to come across Ragdoll breed in here. Why don't you check some shelters and if you don't find a new family member, then I think you can buy a Ragdoll abroad and make them deliver the cat to you.

They are from uzbekistan and speak russian. Any place in Dubai (just so kids wont miss one year) They have house in Emirates Hills. Budget in unlimited. No entry exam is that they are just gonna fail everything. They are smart kids but because they were studying in uzbekistan, they are a little behind.

She is selling them outside the country, to Germany. The place is awful, cats and dogs are in a very bad condition. I didn't check the dogs but cats have Feline panleukopenia and she doesn't care that lots of new born kittens die. She doesn't want do give dogs away because she thinks that they will be in the worse condition. But yea, she breeds cats. Now I am wondering if she has a license, wait she is registered with WCF so that means she is legal?!

I was wondering if it is true that you need to have a municipality license for breeding your pet in uae? as there are many breeders like Petra Mueller and I don't think that they have license!

I am just saying that there is no license to visit someones home and take care for pets there! There is no such thing in Dubai Municipality! Being a member of international association is totally different than being licensed for pet sitting. For pet sitting you get a normal license like Urban Tails where people come and bring their pets. Yes they do and you are again talking nonsense. I am not talking nonsense as you are the one who said that ONLY homely Petz are ligal. So I said "to be legal you have to have a license for what ever you are doing! And each activity has its on numerical number you can always check it yourself! in U.A.E there is no activity as visiting someones home!!! I can get a print out from dubai municipality for you ;) Homely petz are the only company that has a licence for pet sitting in the UAE. FACT. How do you know it?

Princess There is a typical licensed that you get. There is nothing called insurence for your home! I have applied for a licensed (as we rescue many pets and need to have a place) myself and know each activity number. To be legal you need to have a licensed and most pet hotels have it but there is nothing called insurance for your home and there is no license for such a thing so that means that homelypetz are not allowed to provide such service except for only selling goods if they have license for that.

2 months back I bought 2 bottles of drops that you have to drink with water 3 times a day and 6 ampules for injection. One bottle for lymphatic drainage and the other improves metabolism. It helped me very much, in the first month I lost around 10 KG. You can eat what ever you want and at any time, your metabolism is still burning every thing!

Dr Ahmed last time did botox for my friend and her face turned blue, the answer for it is that he is using a chinese botox! Thats why his prices are cheaper. Ladies, try not to experience all the doctors, just find the one that suits you and do not jump to the other one! It never lead to something good. I have found my own and now it is around six years how I use only one doctor and can fully trust her! Regarding the price, I pay 360 AED for the eyes and 700 AED for the forehead. I have done botox and fillers so many times, and know how important is the doctor. The person should be a doctor and not a nurse! You never know what is being injected into your face

We are moving to Perth WA in October. Our furniture will be shipped at the end of Sept and we will be staying with friends for the last few weeks. I have a huge problem with my two cats though and I'm hoping some kind lady here will be able to help me. I want to take the cats with to Aus. DH is refusing to pay the full quarantine costs that side and says I must either find somewhere here for them to stay in foster care until January when they can then be sent off to Aus for only 1 month quarantine or he will put them down :( None of my friends can take them in... they are allergic or have pets or live in apartments or just plain hate cats. I've enquired at Feline Friends but they say they have no space. I've enquired at DKC and they will give a special discounted rate of Dhs9,500 for them to stay for the 5 months, but that is then bringing the costs of taking the cats to Perth to Dhs35,000 which I know my DH will refuse. Please please, I am not going to abandon them here, I will cover all food and any medical expenses. DKC will be doing all their paperwork for AUS, they just need a home to stay in for 5 months until they can join us in AUS. Can anyone please help with this? Email me. humanitarianclub at hotmail dot com
