Thank you ladies for all your replies. So I gather that the child has to be level 5/6 at the end of year 5. Do they expect a minimum level 5 in all the subjects?

I don't think malls is a good idea, there are already many malls in Dubai and yes it's full in holidays and week ends but that doesn't mean we need more, what about building more clinics or libraries that would be perfect. Libraries?? I run a library for kids and have been told by the management that it has to close or relocate because they are redeveloping the area...Dubai does not care about libraries and communities...its all about the money

Wondermum, no update...I just put the mains off after cooking. The cooker has behaved till now) I dont have a fulltime maid or pet..my girls are 6 and 8, so they are aware that the stove is a dangerous thing to play with. Spoke to the cooker company and they said its not possible)

Get a camera installed somewhere well hidden, maybe your child is curious or enjoying the cheeky attention of worried mommy or perhaps your maid is playing up? Else get the Handyman in to check the fault.. Small piece of advice- always switch off the cooker from the main socket as well to avoid mishaps. yes, will try the camera...and I am keeping the mains switched off. Also calling the handy man tomm.

Strange but this this guys cellphone turned his oven on? Have you bought a new smartphone recently?? [i'>Cellphones, which send signals at up to 3 watts, often create electromagnetic interference with baby monitors, computer speakers and car radios, so it’s not surprising that they might also affect an oven’s electronic controls[/i'> ???? http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/23/nyregion/23about.html?_r=0 I really don't think there's anything supernatural about this, there's obviously a logical explanation, either someone is turning it on or it's got a faulty mechanism/short circuit.. Alismum, no new smartphones or any gadgets bought recently..I am not ruling out logic) but whatever is happening is really freaking me out...so trying out all explanations

can a house which has been perfectly normal for 5 years get spooky? Maybe you are being haunted ? Do you know anyone who has died recently, possibly trying to send you a message (or burn your house down?) Seriously? lol Lolacat, then do you have any other explanation why this is happening?

Hi Fatimaf, I sliced up medium sized pieces of onion, potatoes, green peppers, paneer, spinach leaves, etc. Mixed the veg with gramflour, ginger-garlic paste, tablespoon of olive oil, salt and spices to taste. Did not add water to the mix at all. Placed spoonfuls of the mix on the wire rack and airfried them for 15 mins..tossed the mix a bit and again airfried for 5 mins. There will be some crumbs which fall off the wire rack into the bottom of the fryer. The results were good, taste not exactly like the fried version, but far more healthier)
