Simple question! Really just wondering. Does anyone else feel it is like a cult? Posted for the sake of some intelligent debate. What is intelligent debate? Removed the "intelligent" bit. Sorry if it didn't sound right:)

I definitely worded it wrong. I don't mean the company itself, the consumers of apple. The whole attitude drives me up the wall. The best computer is Mac, the best phone is iPhone. They have to have the iPad, iPod, I this I that, and buy the new versions every year. You see people putting the apple sticker on their luxury cars! Some get apple tattoos! I just think it's all a big hype.

The only thing in the world that has served my 7 years and 3 months old daughter, almost as much as I have is this child seat. http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=3797681 it is only 5 days short of my patronage!LOL She has sat in this seat since she was 5 days old. It has travelled across and the US, Africa, Europe and Asia with us numerous times. The fabric seat cover and the plastic base have been washed a million times. But it is still going strong. It can carry children from 3 kilos to 45 kilos. It is definitely one of the best purchases ever! Hope this helps:) <em>edited by Irooni on 11/07/2011</em>

Purple replied : have you been there? The villas are lovely, but the location is the reason for the price, there is nothing nearby. We were really looking at going there, but we are to used to having everything on our doorstep where we are. Right . If you have young children, it can be a mess to reach an hospital in case of an emergency ! Not true. It's not like other compounds have hospitals on site! Have u ever used them? they are not the places to take people when hey are seriously ill or need an ambulance, in an emergancy where ever u are in Dubai unless u live across the rd from Al Rashid hospital then u would have to travel lol I wouldnt even use my hospital the American for an emergancy. Are you talking to me? I am saying what pretty much what you are saying. Salome said, it's a mess to get to hospitals inan emergency. And i said that's not true, it is not as if all compounds have hospitals on site! You would have to drive to get to hospital regardless. <em>edited by Irooni on 09/07/2011</em>

The traffic can be a disaster on Emirates road ( a lot of trucks ) . edited by salome on 08/07/2011 Traffic ...wat traffic? I live in The Villa its the best place for no traffic.. No one is quing up to get out onto the main rd like i did at the ranches and the springs, when i lived there. I've lived here for 1 year and have encounted no traffic or accidents on the emirates rd, and im on it twice a day. Also its more central to get to places from here...quicker to get to Dubai mall/festival city and mirdiff cc then the ranches and the springs. Also 15 min to American hospital straight down the Al Ain rd. As it's close to silicon oasis, I am sure its almost as central.

You are certainly not suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder if you are laughing about it..People with this disease suffer greatly which makes them unable to function in their daily lives!! so do not worry you do not have OCD I started to worry when i moved my sister on the sofa to make her sit properly and to look even on the sofa, i straightened the cushion behind her so it wasnt wrinkly! Ladies take this test http://psychcentral.com/ocdquiz.htm share your scores if you dare <em>edited by Irooni on 05/07/2011</em>

I usually put it in a regular pot, and equal amount of boiling water, add butter to taste and it's never lumpy. But I guess it's not authentic!

If you want central, DSO is the place to be. 3 major supermarkets, 2 pharmacies, MMI, costa, several smaller supermarket and groceries, 3 salons, some new cafes and restaurants all within 5 mins. Al ain road and emirates road are both a minute away. If you like to drive slower like i do, academic city road will take you all way to midriff. MCC is 12 mins away, DFC is 15 mins, dubai mall is 12 mins, al wasl safa or jumeirah are less than 20 mins, Mercato 20 mins. The only places it is a bit of a drive from is MOE and new Dubai like marina and the rest of the emaar developments. If you like new Dubai and have to drive there often, i suggest you forget DSO.

Wow! Some of you just love to take every opportunity to jump at people! It was a joke for crying out loud! I had a 10 year service package with them in Vancouver that just finished. I thought some watch service centres like hour choice or rivoli would be authorised as well! I wasn't planning on taking it to minutes!
