Ok ladies don't want to sound too paranoid but please be careful if you're posting this on facebook! These words are answers to common security questions for online banking and other e-commerce sites so hackers/scammers can easily use this personal information. Very true!

Forever 21, would you tell us where DD goes to school. I can't beleive school is over at 11:30!!!!! I would love for my children to have a shorter school day. Well.....I promise you wont like the school when you find out more unpleasant facts about it! She goes to The Apple International school in Al Qusais...:( oh I am sorry you are not happy at the school!:(

Its just a quick one to wake them and freshen them up, smoothly. They love standing under warm running water and cuddling up in their bath robes later. If I don't do that, then they will whine and moan for washing their faces! Just weird habits my children have !lol

Thank you ladies for so many responses! This site is a mine of info. I think I will be referring to this thread lots of times come Sept. I dont know how co-operative DD will be for a shower at 6. May have to put it off till she comes home. But perhaps when she's older it can be incorporated.[/quo [color=#000000'>Your child does not need a shower in the morning, she can have a bath or shower in the evening as part of her bedtime routine. This showering in the morning business is simply unhygenic in this climate after a day at school.[/color'> edited by Miss Pickle on 27/04/2011 [b'>I don't think its unhygenic, cause they have a bath as soon as they come home from school in the afternoon.[/b'> edited by Irooni on 27/04/2011

However you work your day it is essential that your child gets at least 11 hours of good sleep, preferably at night. Research has proven that children who do gain the minimum 10 hours a night perform and excell better than peers who have less sleep. I do not understand why children of this age are still having naps and going to bed late, but maybe that is because i hold a more traditional approach to raising children. I firmly believe children under 10 should be in bed by 7 with lights out by 7.30 pm at the latest. *****LIKE******* So glad I am not the only one who thinks 11 hours is essential. People think I am mad sending my children to bed by 7.

Haha, mums think the same I guess! My children don't really need a wash in the morning, cause they have bathed the afternoon before. But putting them under the shower is so much weasier than battling with them to wash their faces; to wake them up!

A housekeeper and maid are two completely different jobs in my opinion. A housekeeper manages a household whereas a maid can only clean.

My children are almost 5 and 7. 6:00 Up and shower By 6:30 Breakfast (pancakes, cereal, eggs or sausges and eggs), quick read, brush 7:00 get dressed and leave by 7:15 School, ECAs, homework and studying until about 4:30-5pm everyday. Home: Shower, free time for whatever (outside play, swimming, indoor play, colouring, non school reader book reading, Piano practice. Son might be playing with Action figures, daughter role plays as teachers..... NO TV) 5:30 or 6:30 depending on the day of week and time the activity has ended. DINNER 7:00 read and lights out before 7:30 pm Both will never use the loo at school for well....you know! They wait till they are home. Play dates are usually on thursdays or saturdays. Swimming lessons saturday morning. Weekend fun pony rides, ice skating, ski dubai or a simple swim. For snack: Sandwich, fruit, veggies, yoghurt For Lunch: a carb and protein; possibly vegetable too! Fruit for pudding. When they come home they only have fruit until Dinner. Hope this helps.

Lately I have been wondering, if....... The Colosseum was built 2000 years ago The Acropolis over 2400 years ago Ephesus 2500 years ago Tower of Pisa over 800 years ago (to name a few) With all the advancement of technology in this day and age, how is the Burj a wonder today? It's just tall...............that's all! True. In the early days I found it quite amazing. But now when I compare, I think the ones mentioned really do put it to shame.
