In my experience in terms of value it beats any supermarket I must say. Be careful with the quality as you don't get to choose so always check that you are not getting the fully ripe fruits as they wont last too long. I always request for the boxes at the bottom or back of the stall which might be about a couple of dirahms more expensive because they are not fully ripened.. As long as you are feeding more than the standard family size of 4 - then you are good to go!
Ramadan timings were much later with stalls setting up at about 9:30ish PM and they were still there at 2AM!
Last week stalls were open from about 4pm and packed up by 11PM.

Definitely worth a visit if you use fruits a lot and can deal with the volume. I have a family of 5 (4 adults & 1 teen), shop there once a month on a budget of about 300 dirahms! An absolute bargain as I use to spend that much just on grapes and strawberries from Spinneys!;)
