Hi Issi, at different times i"ve seen those sold independently at Mothercare, Babyshop and some pharmacies too (the ones that carry Avent, I believe Supercare does). But it all depends on whether they have stock when you go, which is always a fun exercise in Dubai isn't it:-) Hope you'll find them! At least it's a step, now I know I can ask them at Mothercare and maybe just maybe they will order for me. Well here goes for the most common exercise in Dubai...mall hopping ;-) Thanks again Big Blue

Funny, I was just looking through a recipe that I want to make tomorrow that includes cream of tartar, and was wondering where I might be able to find it! How convenient! I'll let you know if I find any - I'm hoping Spinneys in Motor City might. edited by laurelm on 24/09/2013 Yay! Please let me know and I'll do the same should I find it. Found some - in my kitchen cabinets! That was an unexpected surprise. Now on to making some snickerdoodles. I don't recall going out of my way to but it; I think I must have grabbed it from a Spinneys. Hope you find some! Great! Hope I will just as lucky

I cannot remember who asked where they can find this, but it is available in sachets in C4 MCC(Dr Oetker brand). It was me, thank you will be popping in the shops soon. :-) edited by issi on 25/09/2013

If this is for meringue, you can always use white vinegar to make them soft and marshmallowy. Or if you want COT, I find Geant has the best baking aisle and Choithrams aren't bad too. Thank you Dangerous Blonde, I need it for making play dough, but I love the idea of using vinegar for meringue. Will definitely have to try that!
