If you are talking about a sharjah visa: yes, the fee equals 12xmonthly salary, nationality doesn't matter to Sharjah immigration. It is the philipine embassy that expects their nationals to earn a minimum salary. Sharjah has no refundable deposit. Only the fee, but you have to pay every year. If Dubai, you pay a fee, as well as a refundable deposit, but again irrespective of nationality. Does this apply to Abu dhabi as well? could u explain what this visa price is? Someone mentioned this 12x monthly salary. Thxs.

We have been considering a Kenyan Lady previously but after doing some research decided against it due to difficulties in getting a visa at times. So easy, just finished the formalities, she exited to Oman to and from. Hi Mara12345 just asking. Does this apply to other african countries as well. just found one highly recommended and worked for a friend i know but she is Nigerian. However someone mentioned something about paying salaryx12months to immigration for insurance (still trying to get the facts right abt that )

@DesertRose1958: Well i let her go without underwear at home but insist on wearing them for outings with track pants or when on her period. We take each day as it comes. Hopefully when we start the sen integration we can work on that too. the covering of ears has reduced but now we have more eye covering/shutting and look like they hurt her. i try to pick quiet times to go out and walk late evenings so she can cope. Managing ok. one step at a time. Thanks for asking.

apologises for barging in but I'm faced with same dilemma. I m looking for a sensory integration therapist as I've tried OT for yrs and it hasn't really helped. I have noticed reference made to kids in motion, kids first and someone suggested Wilson centre for children with disabilities but looking at the sites it mentions OT. Need advice here. Thxs

We are thinking about home schooling our 11 yr old DS. I'd like to hear from anyone who has or is home schooling teenagers and if there are any other options for UK curriculum. Can you use the k12 when returning to the uk?

Hi ladies, If it would help. I called Nec recently and I was told (very bluntly) the centre is for locals only. So unless if there's new info. I'm still looking for info for my daughter. Ninap: I would be interested in any info. U might find. I found the British learning centre but I don't think it's specific for autism. I might be wrong. I'll book an appt and see.

Hi ladies, thks for all your replies. sorry abt late reply i had a truck load of applications to do and i have been in touch with all the schools. Still trying with my daughter though. the NEC school only deals with uae nationals so that's one strike off. I've contacted the British learning Centre but i;ll have to visit to see if it suits her. Just wondering if there are mums doing home schooling out there and what resources they have or use just in case if that would be my last option. Now back to the questions - Bsak might be the one school that suits my older boy as he's going to do his A levels. can anyone recommend areas where/how to get accomodation near this school (on the island). Know of any available ones and what would be the price range. Thanks.
