El Mondo? They used to do a catamaran trip on a Friday afternoon for about 3 hours not done it for a while so not sure if they still do it? Used to be called "Friday Fun In The Sun" if I remember rightly. Have fun whatever you decide to do

I would like to know but am hoping it won't be any time soon. We have lived there for almost 5 years now and this is the first sign of any real development. In one way it would be nice to have something other than sand to look at but not looking forward to the noise and dust from the construction. Jac

Had Hairworks at JBR recommended to me by loads of women on this forum and have been so happy every time I have been. I have a couple of different stylists and always come out with a big smile on my face. Not the cheapest but so worth the money! Good luck

Agree with Chocs01 a basic course is a really good idea. I assume it will give you some basic knowledge on how to drive and care for your boat along with a bit of mechanical basics. Can be really daunting getting out on the water with nobody else to assist otherwise - fish out of water feeling!

This is one thing that you do not need in Dubai. You need to register the boat and have the transponder fitted now but no need for any licence yet.

I had a voucher given to me for Christmas and phoned a couple of weeks ago to book a massage at the Angsana at Arabian Ranches and apparently the pool is no longer available for use by spa guests. Very disappointed as wanted to go and use the pool for a couple of hours before the treatment. I have used the one at Montgomerie and that was great but wasn't aware of how they time their sessions so was surprised when 90 minutes went so fast - 60 minute massage and 30 minutes of doing nothing. Still lovely though. Enjoy!

There is a new studio and gym opened in the new industrial area opposite AR called Optimal Fitness and am sure they do yoga.

Dear Ladies Just felt compelled to write a big "Thank You" for the recommendation of Paul at Space 3. I asked him for a quote to revamp my kitchen and he has been so good. Turning up when he said he would, providing invaluable guidance on additional cabinets and also tile design which works best etc. Just can't wait to have the work done now!
