Complain to the building management, it is not allowed in our building to keep stuff near the doors or block the corridors. When you complain make sure they don't mention that you are the ones who complained. Some neighbours are nice but others are nasty, this is why I avoid direct contact regarding similar issues with neighbours I don't know & I speak to the building management directly Thanks for confirming that. That was what I was thinking also cause I don't know these people and definitely don't want to get in to unnecessary fights. I will try to inform the building management. thanks again

You could join a network marketing company and start your own business from home. They fall under the Direct Sales Association here so have different regulations so can sell from home etc. All you need is a valid UAE visa, NOC from sponsor and valid contract from the company to be legally working from home selling products or building a team. Thank you so much .I never thought about this but now I will have a look :)

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, chickenpox can be really nasty. I don't know about neem leaves, but we found calamine lotion was quite good to relieve the itching of chickenpox blisters. I should think you can get the lotion in Boots the Chemist, if not other chemists here, though I don't know for sure. Also, I have heard suggested a cool bath with porridge oats in it helps; failing porridge oats, apparently you can use bicarbonate of soda. Good luck, I hope she feels better soon. Thanks. I am trying to get hold of Calamine .In the meantime tried Bicarb-soda it is a bit of a relief for her. I am worried about blisters turning in to scars specially if she tends to scratch

Good Morning expatwoman. I have decided to get a private tutor for my seven year old to help her improve her english. We are from Jordan. I have contacted some tutor from dubizzle and the fees are too high for some. One lady would like 250 one hour and the other lady want 200. Is this price the same as you pay? That is the going rate for private tutoring. Maybe if its english as in ESOL, you could look at one of the language institutions that may deal with children who run classes after school for small groups. that may be less costly. :) I have a private tutor for my DD aged 8 and I pay 1400 aed per month for 2 hours a day X 5 days a week. I don't know if this is expensive or not. She tutors in all the school subjects but with a focus on English reading and writing. The tutor is not a native English speaker but speaks English fluently. Hi, Can you kindly give me her contact details as I am looking for my 7 year old as well

My daughter has a very painful cavity on one of her teeth and she is complaining of pain.I took her to a well known dentist and she told me to remove 2 of her teeth as they have decayed beyond repair and also to do a filling on another 2.But these are all not her permenant teeth ! I asked from a doctor friend who happened to ask from one of her friends who is a dentist, has told her to tell me not even touch those as they will eventually fall off and to use floride to clean the teeth and take anti-biotics to prevent any infection ..I was amazed by two conflict opinions ...

I am pretty amazed at all the good comments about this salon .This salon is the worst salon I have been to in my life .They rip you off with the ''hair length '' always talk to them before as to your hair falls in the right length or eles they will charge you 500 extra on top of the coupon value. male staff is very unprofessional and you actually feel very uncomfortable in there .Go there if you are fine with getting treated badly cause u have a coupon and your hair is short-short .otherwise skip by all means!

Craftland on Jumeira Beach Road in the old mall next to the Mercato Centre is the place to go. They might even throw in the lessons if you buy a machine from them. I went to craftland and I liked one machine there but I didn't like the guy who was there to teach he seemed rude and bit unclear ..maybe it's me anyways I would like to know from someone who learned from this Indian guy is he good??

Thanks for the replies ladies ...I live in business bay 2 br plus the maids room since september and (our A/C bill comes seperate ) last month my electricity bill was 2400/- and I have a school going kid and we use the washing machine and drier quite often ( at least 2 to 3 times a day ) I then stopped using the drier it stopped working and I didn't get anyone down to fix it thinking it is the drier which caused this ) then I got this Electricity bill now which is 1800/- I suspected it was the washer plus drier I have been using but still it is high cause I don't use the drier at all ...confused

my hair is jet black and I wanted to go couple of shades lighter more like dark brown ..but my hair stylist ended up making it some rustic orange ...she said since my hair is balck she had to strip it to get the colour in ..but somehow it went horribly wrong and later I bought this Loreal dark brown shade and put it all by my self ..it worked but I need to find a good stylist

depends on your situation ..I find this funny but when you have a small baby and when you take such effort to put it to sleep last thing u need is someone to come and dump a golf cart ..so I would say this is ''unwanted hassle ''
