I moved from Dubai Marina to Al Ghadeer 1.5 years ago and don't regret it at all! Yes, it's further out than most places, but apart from that once you are here it's lovely! Houses are nice quality, about 10 pools in the community and 5 or so gyms - small grocery for everyday items, and now a costa for coffee and pastries! More shops are meant to be coming...but have no idea when, so you just need to plan things - it's easy. Bigger shops at Ibn Battuta or DIP/Greens Community and you're fine. Ibn Battuta & DIP are both approx 20 minutes drive away. The community is full of families which is really great and a lot of mother support in the area. There are some schools and nurseries that are doing buses to AG, but definitely not as much as more occupied areas. RERA is not in place, however I've heard AD will be introducing something similar. Jebel Ali Waterfront - my husband worked on and he would not recommend to live there. It's lower quality and only 10 minutes different to Al Ghadeer location. Thank you Poomba for the information you shared with us,i am so excited about Al Ghadeer , i hope things move on good and have chance to rent a nice apartment.

I would love to hear from anyone living at Ghadeer as to what it is like; do restaurants deliver, can you get cleaning companies, any groceries yet and how long it takes to get to Bin Batuta , Thanks a lot ! Dear Arch, Hope you are doing well. We recently shifted to Al Ghadeer in June 2015 and I absolutely love the place. Even we were a bit skeptical about the area as it looks very isolated but trust me it's not. The community is lovely and you have swimming pools, gyms, play areas etc within the community. Moreover, there's a grocery store inside Al Ghadeer which provides for your basic needs. A few restaurants deliver in Al Ghadeer as well. There is a laundry service n they have free delivery and pick up. Also their rates are pretty economical. Furthermore, there r 2-3 water companies (very cheap; AED 80 for 11 big bottles) n r a call away. Same is the case with gas cylinder for cooking.. When we need to get something late night (after 11 pm as the grocery gets closed ), there r petrol pumps 5 mins away which r open 24/7 with subway and southern fried chicken branches for dine in or take aways. Ibn e Batuta takes 20 minutes n Dubai is very much accessible. There is barely any traffic on SZR. Also they have part time cleaners for AED 25 /hr..really professional. Good luck deciding! Hello Dear sajjadkinza Can you please read my last post and give me advice also another lady asked you to share the information about the delivery and laundry ,can you please? Thank you in Advance:)

Hello Ladies My Husband will be relocated to UAE during this month ,and we are thinking about Al Ghadeer ,because it will be in-between Dubai and his work, now we are not sure i read some where that there is a lease office in the village ,or shall we look for propriety agents? we searched a lot on internet and we are interested in terraced apartments with 1BR. as we don't have children. Do this village have many sections? i found names like Waha ,khaleej ? what is the difference between the sections ? are the deference in services or just sections for villas or town homes etc? Thank you in advance :)
