Hi che731! I also got pregnant on my first IVF with Enjab Hospital in Sharjah, Got implanted with 4 embryos and 2 stuck. I also got pregnant with twin boys. Everything went well and gave birth on my 36th week , one is weighing 2.08 kg and other is 2.21 kg, they are both well now on their 7 weeks and gained so much weight as well. I remember we were in the same thread with that IVF thing, glad to know that you had also twin boys and sad that one was not able to make it.

hi T85, you don't have to worry as you will be sedated. anaesthesia will be given thru iv so you wont feel it, you will be asleep the whole time ER is done. they will keep you in the hospital until you feel ok. You will be feeling bloated, but just rest it off for the rest of the day. DON't worry about the quantity, its the quality of eggs that counts. Good luck on your ER! wishing you success ahead!

@Plum Tree Good luck on your transfer today. i'm also keeping my fingers crossed for positive result after 2 weeks. The 2 week wait is a torture for me, everyday you look for a positive signs that will give you clues on what will be the result.. but i keep myself busy day by day. My prayer for both of us and to all ladies who are in this journey. and let's claim that God had given us an early Christmas gift. that's what i always think of :) Keep us posted!

Hi Jimnbaby, No discharges for me. But I did have a little cramping on my lower tummy, its very tolerable though. I thought it was because I was hyper-producing eggs and enlarging them. So I took it as a good sign! :) Still, best to ask your doctor. Good Luck with the scans, I really hope you get good size eggs! Hi che731, Thanks for your feedback, I've read from some other forums that white discharge is okey and a good sign as well, and now with your info that you also experienced a little cramping on your lower tummy , i am now quite relieve. really keeping my finger crossed that everything will be alright.

Jinnbaby, talk to your doctor about it. I did not have any pain before the egg retrieval, but every person and case is different. However, be prepared for some discomfort after the egg retrieval. Many thanks for your info. it was just a little pain below my abdomen. i will surely ask my doctor about it.

Hi I went for my second appointment with Dr.Ashraf and have a weird feeling. So I started asking about the procedure and he explained it, he said to come in after a couple of days to start treatment…then I wanted more details as in what medications I would have to take, what would happen in the next appointment.. and his reply was, I’m not in the mood to tell you (I think it was meant as a joke, but this is a very sensitive time for me). I asked again saying I need to be mentally prepared so I would like to have an idea about what would happen and his response was I cannot answer you now as I will only now then, he said it depends on your follicles and other things which you should not worry about this is my job all you have to do is exercise, eat fruits and vegetable and drink a lot of milk. His location and timings are great for me, I work late and live right next to the clinic. This is the main reason I would go back, he said he would accommodate me needing to see him at any time for injections and so on. I would like to have some feedback. Is it normal for a doctor not to know what will they do and what medications will be required until the day (again I do not know what is supposed to happen on that day) itself? The cost is 16,000 (ICSI is required for us) not including medications. The nurse said it would be around 22,000 as a total. I have an appointment next week with Dr.Amal (Fakih center) will update it with how that goes as well. Thinking of checking New Hope Center as well. 2 people here seem to have good feedback but for some reason i feel they are ads as the people posting have 2 or 3 posts only? i do not mean to offend anyone but just saying my thoughts. Anyways would love to hear more. Thanks edited by T85 on 08/11/2012 edited by T85 on 08/11/2012 Hi T85 I was again browsing on your posts and it seems that we have the same feelings/encounter with Dr Ashraf.. At first I was really not comfortable with him. can you keep me posted on how is your progress with him? i'll be back on the 15th of Nov to monitor the follicles. We are also on the same boat as he bluntly told us we need an IVF with ICSI and also told about the same cost... please keep me posted :)

Thank you for all your replies. At the moment I will go to Dr.Ashraf again just to follow up on our first appointment and see what his thoughts are. I will also go to Dr.Fakih and see what he thinks. Then who I feel more comfortable with I will complete the treatment with. I will keep you all posted. Thanks again! HI T85 I am new in this site.. I just want to ask you how was your treatment with Dr Ashraf at Enjab? I have started my treatment with him and now on various injections prescribed and will be back in a week time to monitor the progress. Did you continue your treatment with him? What stage are you right now? How is it? Appreciate your reply.. Thanks
