Hi arohadxb As hard as it is to get him to face the problems, the earlier it is recognised medically, the more impact 'dementia drugs' have. Aricept and Exiba are two to look up. The Alzheimers org in the UK has lots of info on their site and there is also a forum which is a great source of information and support - particularly if the sufferer is based in the UK. With the right support and medication in place this dreadful disease can be slowed/managed but the reality is that it is a terrible disease for the person suffering and those who love them. Depression can also go hand in hand with dementia too. Take care j edited by jmt on 27/09/2011

Many thanks Nomad and Sue Not the plant souk - one of the smaller, more expensive ones - just finished choking on their prices when I spotted the Mum! Will go back and see what I can do. Is it hard to trap them? j

Mum was so, so friendly - I'd say not a normal stray. Two gorgeous kittens - a few weeks old at a guess. Staff didn't seem to know that they were there????? Obvious to me as she was out in the open. I asked the lady to put some water out and she did. Mum was quite thin but not skinny. Kittens safely behind pallets of tiles. What do I do? Leave them as they seemed very safe? I know FF are full and my dog would most likely eat them as afternoon tea and we are away for the weekend. Go back and check next week?? Any advice from experienced rescuers would be appreciated - many thanks.
